I was looking at picking up the Aspire Nautilus adjustable airflow tank tomorrow and wanted to know some thoughts on this. How often would I have to replace the tank or any of the pieces? I am new to vape and use it very lightly, but the juice I use is a little thick. Anybody ever have any issues with these? The other is the iClear 30s, but not sure how sturdy/easy to break/crack either of them are since I travel by train and bus daily. I am leaning toward the Nautilus. Any thoughts or advice for a new guy?

May I recommend the Viva Nova? I got one recently and am really digging it. Have had NONE of the issues that I have with my other tanks (protanks, iclear 30, evods, an rba), no flooding, leaking, gurgling, dry hit, burning, nothing, just vapes and vapes exactly like you'd want something to vape. The iClear 30 is okay as well but does have some finicky issues, flooding if you fill it too high, shorts if you don't screw head in tight enough, lots of rolling around to saturate both coils. Haven't tried the aspire NAutilus however.

Given the design of the nautilus tank, if you drop it, odds are its going to break. I've seen a couple broken ones in person. Best bet may be to go for something more durable like a kayfun clone if you want it to be sturdy. Good luck breaking a kayfun, especially with the steel tank installed. However, if you don't know how to build a coil, it may not be for you.

My buddy has a nautilus and he uses thick 100% VG and it performs nicely. I believe it functions with similar principles as the kayfun style heads. With these, especially if your using thicker juice, you may be replacing the atomizer (they are replaceable but not real cheap) as often as 1 week. Since you use yours very lightly, you may get 2-3 weeks off of it. Me? Likely under a week. I vape like a freight train, 4 + ml's per day. There are those who vape a heck of a lot more than me, but you could feasibly dilute your juice to thin it out a little bit. That's what I do with my Mount Baker 100% VG and it works nicely

I just started using my Nautilus yesterday. It is very nice. Nice hit and vapors. Find the air setting you like and it's good. I'm using it on a Vision Spinner around 3.3-3.8 volts. What I've learned through using these BDC tanks is take it slowly on lower voltage for awhile and then slowly turn it up to what you like.

Using 50-50 mix for juice. Flows nice with a good taste. So far out of Kanger Protank, Aspire ET-S tanks this one is my best of right now. But I am waiting for RBA and RDA's to come in.

Thank you for all the good advice! I am not rough on my stuff, like I don't drop it, but it may sit in my backpack during class is all so may have some stuff resting against it a little. As for how much I smoke, I probably wouldn't fill it more than 2 to 3 times a week to be honest. I am not sure what RBA and RDA stands for, only been at this for about a week. I am going down to the shop tomorrow and ask about some of these other ones like the kayfun and viva nova. Is there anything I should be looking for or to avoid? I am on a fixed income so I need to make sure what I buy will last.

Personally I had trouble with the Vivi nova. You will want to research builds if your going to go for a kayfun. YouTube and the Modding forum here is your friend. Have a solid understanding of ohms, wick material and battery safety. Rebuilding is nice because it's far cheaper in the long run, and you can fully customize your vape to your liking.

Sorry, just saw what device your using. Vision spinner is a good choice. You'll want to avoid rebuildables until you get something that as an ohm reader built in. A mini Protank II is a good choice, a nautilus may look a little silly on there unless your okay with a... unique look =].

A full sized protank II wouldnt look bad on there with the adapter piece, but aspire tanks seem fairly trouble free. I don't deal with clearomizers much anymore (protank, Vivi nova, aspire etc).

I've never enjoyed anything from the iclear series. I have the iclear 30, 30s, 30b and none of them worked for me at all. Just no flavor, and a really nasty machiney taste. Protanks weren't bad when I first started and worked well for the most part. I was very impress with the mini protank II though
