whenever people see me vaping, they ask me how they can get one for themselves or for one of their loved ones that smoke.

so i am thinking about buying a few kits (mostly eGo and joy510 kits for the choice in aesthetics), and keeping them with me to sell to those people on the spot. i would probably only mark them up about $5 for the trouble but i was wondering what kind of trouble i could get into by doing this.

basically, instead of going through the trouble of writing down a bunch of different websites where they can order one and a list of the gear they i would recommend for them, i would have it already. i would still be ordering the kits from the same places i recommend to order from, so i am not taking any business away from them. just basically acting as the middleman and cutting the possibility that they will never check it out on their own, since the unit is there for them to start off with right away.

I do this now, only I resell eGo kits with a drip tip and get them started off right. :)
I too only charge $5 extra for my trouble...heck I AM doing them a service, I should get paid somethin'. I also give them an ECF card and at least 1 juice supplier's card.

Many people are compulsive buyers and also don't know what they should get...and the choices just overwhelm most folks. They ask me and I put on a good, honest schpeel for them.

When you want to get serious about it (big bucks), you can get really good deals from the Chinese merchants.

So I say Go for it!

If you're in Ohio you might need to get a $25 vendors license- I'm not sure about other states, though. I believe it would fall under a 'delivery vendor' or a 'transient vendor' (I always think of gypsies or hobos when I hear this term) license if you operate without a fixed storefront. Sales taxes are another issue, depending on your state or county.

I guess if you wanted to be strictly legal, you'd have to get a reseller's certificate and register your dba with your state, report your income and collect/pay sales tax. But I can also fly under the radar for awhile selling onesy-twosies to friends. It's not like I'm advertising them setting up shop and inviting the public. More like a Johnny Appleseed for PV's.:2cool:

Prolly wouldn't myself. Once I've purchased it, I can do what I want with it, IMO. Not like these are a licensed product are they? Not asking for wholesale prices are you? If you are, then I know the Chinese would be more than happy to set you up.
edit: I can see a problem concerning product warranties, though. You may have to do that footwork yourself.

think it would be best if i contacted the seller i intend on ordering from to at least give em a heads up about my intentions?

You should contact sellers that have affiliate programs and see what the deal is. Even if you don't go with them I'm sure you can get a lot of info. They must have a system set up to keep it legal as a reseller and you can get lower prices.
