So I have been vaping for about 6 months now and started with a G6 from Halo, great product, got me to quit smoking cigarettes and has saved me a lot of money as well. about 2 weeks ago I upgraded to the Triton system from Halo as well. I bought 4 tanks and assumed they would last me a long time, will probably get 1-2 months out of my coils. Yet, in the idea of being a more independent vaper, I would like to learn to rebuild my coils. I have seen some videos on it and it looks slightly tedious but rewarding once you learn to do it properly. From the videos that I saw, a few items were needed...

1) Multi-meter to measure the Ohm level (resistance)
2) Some form of wick
3) Wire threading for the coil
4) A drill bit (What size again? I can't remember offhand)
5) Nail clippers to nip off the wire

Please let me know if I am leaving anything out of my list, I also have a few questions regarding rebuilding my coils...

1) What site would you recommend I use to buy the materials needed? Home depot would probably have the multi-meter and drill bit, I have the clippers already, but about the wick and wire threading?
2) What should I look for in a wick and coil in terms of meterials? Cotton or polyester type material for the wick? Copper or some composite for the coils?

Also, if anyone has any last tips advice or suggestions, please, let me know, I love to learn!

I use a micro torch
tweezers
and a 5/64ths drill bit. you could go larger or small for your inner diameter. this seems to be perfect for my devices

I would just get a ohm's reader/checker that has the 510 connection already on it. my multimeter is terrible at measuring resistance so I just use it to check voltage on a battery once in a while

nail clippers are good
