Hello everyone. Noob here. I was wanting to order the Joye ego from cignot. Is that a good company and choice. My hubby and I both want to switch from reg. cig to e-cigs. I smoke about 1 pk a day analogs. Hubby two packs a day. we both smoke camel wides.
I need to know about how much juice we need to order to last 1 month? With the dlb kit what else should I order? Is there a place that sells e-juice for us empty wallet folks?
I don't think that we will try make your own just yet. We have to get started first.

Cignot is a top notch company with excellent customer service. I just recently placed my third order with them, all my orders have shipped the same day and I have received them within 2 days. I would recommend them to anyone. That being said right now liberty flights has the better deal on The Joye Ego kit. I have never ordered from them but have heard great things about them. I went ahead and ordered my EGO from Cignot just because I'm impatient and knew if I went with them I'd have it within 2 days lol.

Make sure you have at least 4 attys between the two of you because attys can burn out.

You could get some 100% PG juice to start (maybe 20-30ml for each of you in a couple of different strengths but don't bother getting exotic with the flavors of the Chinese PG - 100% PG is a bit harsh because it lets through the most of nicotine's harshness.) If you do find you like the Chinese juice and want to buy it again, you could buy the same stuff in PG and VG - like get 30ml PG and 10ml VG of the same flavor and mix them to make a 75pg/25vg which would be a bit smoother and easier on your tongue and mouth. I like juices that are within 10% of 70pg/30vg

Madvapes is pretty cheap (TopVapor - the stuff that isn't Chinese).
Juicy Vapor might be cheap

Tasty Vapor can cheap you buy higher nicotine liquid then cut it witht heir cheaper no-nic same flavor doublers
Tasty Vapor
And scroll down here to see how to mix different strengths using their ni juices and flavor doublers
http://www.tastyvapor.us/faq-i-15.html?TVid=9099c0cb1909e70c980065eea7396c36

Vapor Renu is very cheap - I wasn't happy with my choices there but some other people like them.

FreedomSmokeUSA and Backwoods Brew are where I get most of my juices, as well as some faves from Velvet Vapors

There is no way to guess how much juice two people will use in a month. I vape about 1.5 ml per day. I know someone who vapes 10ml per day. Once you see how much jucies each of you go through in a day, in 2 days , in 3 days - then you will know. If you vape out of one bottle each for a few days then you can look at the bottle and see how much the level dropped.

The average person uses somewhere between 2.5ml and 3ml of juice per day.
So for one month, the two of you might want to have at least 200ml of juice on hand.

The hard part is that you really shouldn't go out and buy a large quantity of any one juice before you know if you like it.
The juice graveyard is littered with juices that we all bought that just didn't do it for us.
:)

Also, another thing is that you aren't going to know the right nicotine strength for you until you experiment a little.

You might need something around 18mg and your husband maybe 24mg but you never really know until you try.
It turns out there really isn't a strong correlation between how much you smoked and what strength you really need.

The best advice is to get lots of sample sizes of various flavors, and a few different strengths.
Don't worry about loading up for a month's supply until you have a handle on what you like and what you need.

Cignot is an EXCELLENT choice :) I ordered my wife and I's kits from there. Look at the invoice when it arrives, they always doodle a little cute picture on each invoice :)

One thing I recommend is to upgrade to the eGo-T, I like it much more than the plain eGo. It's a little more money, but well worth it. Filling the tanks is a lot less time consuming (to me at least) than filling carts or cartos.

You won't regret either purchase, see my signature :)

Just got a few of the kits below for some others....great pricing with 20% off coupon
the Riva has the same 510 connection as the eGo but has a 750mah battery compared to the 650mah on the eGo

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

With the kits included Low Resistance Cartomizers

Flavored 510 Mega Low Resistance Cartomizers (2 Ohm) 24Mg
note: don' purchase pre-filled cartomizers myself but for others it is a great intro....tried them and they are pretty good overall....when they dry up just refill with your own juice

Joye 510 compatible e-Cigarette 2.0 Ohm low resistance blank cartomizers

Have variety of juices for sampling....plenty of reviews on forum depending on your likes (can be subjective).
If you find a good juice that you like with the right nic I think moderate vaping would be 2-3mls a day (relative deduction mind you) Might want to start here also The Juice –What Vaping is All About

If I had this gear and info when just beginning things would of went a whole lot smoother for sure and would have quite of bit more money in the bank. :)

Hope that helps

I'd recommend not trying to buy a one month's supply of any one ejuice off the bat. In my experience it took some experimenting to find the right flavor and strength and I wasted at lot of money because I got too much up front and throwing out the stuff I didn't like. I found it better to get smaller amounts of various juices from various sources to find what I like.

wanted to say thanks to all who responded. I don't plan on ordering 1 month supply of juice. I was just wanting to know about how much money it would run per month. compared to cigs. Our camels are $7.00 per pack. Killing us in so many ways. :O(.
My hubby did order the two ego's from cignot. But did not oder anything else. Two sets for 59.00. So now I am try-n to figure out what to oder and where. To go along with what he ordered. He was a lil impatient. This fourm rocks btw

Hi Nurse.
You have made a good choice to get started. Juice is now the important. Once vaping, you will not like to "run dry". Before you know, you'll be making your own - definitely cheaper that way. Get a bottle of USP VG at the local pharmacy together with some destilled water and some dripping bottles (5-20ml). This can be used to "cut" (dilute) a juice if it's too strong, i.e. you can order 18mg/24mg and make lower values if too strong.

Try some vendors / tastes to find your own taste. Do not settle with tobacco flavours. Look at this as an up-front investment. In 6 months you are both well off. E.g. $1600+ if you spend $2000 on PV+juices (wild!), a.s.o.. :)

I seem to be using around 75 ML of juice per month. So far I have not run into any flavors that were so bad as to make them unusable. I got a very small bottle of a mint flavored 24 mg nic level, VG based, that I use to mix with any juices that I don't like so well. Just a few drops of the mint seems to make a big difference.

Buy enough juice to last a while, unless you have a walk in store near you, the wait for a resupply on your juice can be a PITA.

Hi. My husband and I were like you. I smoked 2 PAD and he smoked 1PAD. One ego kit was not enough for us because while he used one battery, I used the other so they both needed to be recharged at the same time.... so no ecigs for either one of us until the batteries recharged. I very quickly ordered another kit so that we each had our own. This way when one of our batteries died we had another one to use while the first one was charging. I'm guessing you will need a second kit really soon if you want to make vaping work for you and your husband. As for Liberty Flights, I bought several kits from them and they are just fine and the price can't be beat. Just my 2 cents from my own experience.

EXCELLENT advice! 28 days in, and we are still trying to nail down our favorite flavors!!
