so lately i have gotten into thinking of building rebuildable tank atomizers. i know there are a few out there but there dam near imposible to get your hands on. so i got thinking, why not make my own?? so as i was thinking about how to do it i started thinking of things that might make it better. some ideas were in the atomizer chamber have the coil wraped wick sit in a upward formation and have the air enter at an angle causing the air to vortex around the coil before exiting up the center of the carto to the mouthpiece.

ive allready priced out a cnc metal lathe. any thoughts or ideas?

well i know that propane style vaporizers use just a metal plate that heats up liquid as opposed to a coil, but im pretty sure its because alot of electricity is needed to heat a plate thats why it isnt used right now for electronic pvs, but if you can eliminate wick and coil or just one or the other you would be on your way to something new, but I think that wick and coil is just most cost effective right now

thanks cbushey7! for the no wick atty i was thinking of using something similar. wraping a coil around a small tube where the juice is fed from the tank. much like the smoke machines you see in night clubs. they have a heated tube where they pump liquid into which then vaporizes and screams out the other end. only problem would be sizes of the tip and if the coil can produce enough heat. that and the heat transfer from coil to juice

I think the money is in bottom coil designs, the only way I see to eliminate wicks is you MUST have the juice stored above the coils, its pretty much the only way, and use gravity and a clever design to slowly wet the heating element...If I had the time and machining equipment I would prob design one myself as im very good with drafting and 3d desgining software, but if it comes out you heard it here first haha good luck

DV have a decent selection of RBAs in stock you might want to check out here.

As for designing your own tank system, my vote is also for a bottom coil tank system. Below is a link to a recently released rebuildable bottom coil tank, perhaps you can use its design and improve upon it.
