Was just pondering this in my own head. As far as yourself and atty, is thicker or thinner VG liquid better or worse for ya? Or no difference.

Also, which one is better for an atomizer's longevity?

Thinner liquid I can see being vaporized at a lower temperature threshold since its more water. Thicker liquid I can see maybe gunking the atomizer up more due to more concentration of VG "solids" and having to probably be higher temperature to vaporize.

There's a lot of things with vaping that are just considered to be true, but in comparison to actual science and maybe even studies - which would actually hold true?

I really don't know since I am not a scientist but I would say a thinner vg would be better at least for you atty's anyway. It seems that when I use a liquid with a thicker vg ratio it messes up my atty's and they go out a whole lot sooner. As far as health wise that has been debated over and over some people are allergic to pg and can't vape anything but vg and visa versa. I don't think that question will ever be answered with 100% certainty

I vape 60PG/40VG and 50/50 mixes. So far I haven't had any problems with my atties getting gunked up or being ruined. I've been vaping for nine months like this. As a matter of fact, I still have 5 of the very first atties that I ever bought. They get blown out at least once a day and soaked for about 15 minutes in 91% Iso Alc once every other week or so.

In general I find light vs dark colored juice can play more of a roll in how long I can vape an atty without having to clean. I mainly use CE2s and some darker juices I have to clean after 1 or 2 fills. Some light colored ones I can get over 5 fills in and they still perform great. I've done the same comparisons with lager amounts of VG and PG and can't see much of a difference in that regard.

I vape nothing but: 50/50 or > % VG Cinnamon w/CE-2 in a modded syringe, topped off with an clear shorty DT. All this connected to my ProVari. When I finally can't clear the coil of ash anymore by dry burning. . .I throw the damned things out. For Chrisssakes people, we're talking about $1.35 here. How much time ya gonna throw away messing with them? Just One Very Old Mans Opinion.

Thanks again WOH.

Cheers
