Can I thin out a thick high VG juice with filtered water? I have a Zero water filter system and would just be easier since I only need like 10 ml. Thanks.

Deionized water is best - that gets out all the minerals that would gunk your coils, not to mention your lungs...
Coils will get gunked up from all the sweetener and flavoring long before the amount of minerals in 10 ml of water will harm them.
Distilled water is fine if it concerns you, the chlorine in tapwater can impact the flavor of juice.
