Good morning everyone. I have been down and out fighting allergies this week. Just thought that I would stop in to say hello and wish everyone a great day.
I now have a solidly bricked Razr Maxx 
Darn 4.1.2 update from Verizon/Moto didn't take. I then temporarily unrooted the phone (I need root for privacy guard and antivirus), reran the update, and the phone is toast -- it only goes to the red eyeball, stays there.
Went to local Verizon, they tried for an hour, no luck. New phone coming by FedEx (DW and I are on the same overall account, and they treated her phone buy on 4/2/12 as meaning mine was still in warranty - works for me )
Right now the phone does nada. I'll try running some specialized tools when I get home, things I can't get to from work, just to see if I can recover any of the data.

LOL, but you're right Mark, technology is a wonderful thing as long as its all working right.

I decided to ditch my cell phone. I no longer carry one. I figure if something happens I will just yell loudly. I kept adding minutes to it and never used it. I don't like to talk on the phone so what is the point. I suppose if I was traveling I would pick up a Net10 and minutes. Other than that I work 14 miles away and shop 4 miles. If I had to walk I suppose I could do it.

I just keep a few minutes on my cell phone because the only person I ever talk to on it is my wife.
She likes me to check in when I'm out on my tractor or running around on the 4wheeler. She worries about me.

They are great for blackberry bushes too. You get a couple goats going and they will clear land in no time plus they fertilize the soil as they go.
It's dry heat to. 70° is hard to take here because it's so wet. Great to swee you MOD.

I will email hubs to track him down. Today's reply: message received. He is not a talker or a chatter. He has a I phone supplied by his work place. He vowed never to buy one...LOL he has to carry one because he is working between 3 buildings right now.

I need a copy of last year's tax return and the file is on Kevin's computer...which won't boot up Says there is a corrupt or missing windows dll file. I'm guessing I can't get into the shared network files if I can't get his to boot into windows.
Fran, Terri sent me some pre made juice samples and there is one that made me think of you. It's called Coconut Mojito, a combination of coconut, lime and mint. Made me think of your lime tahiti and peppermint juice. It's way out of my usual bakery flavor vapes, but it's oddly good. The Hazelnut Cappu is pretty good, I haven't tried the dark chocolate or the apple cinnamon yet. These were samples that Notcigs got from Evo. Personally, I think there are so many juice vendors out there, that I don't think it's a good idea to try jumping into the juice side of the business.

Dang Bov, I'm not sure what to tell you about the pc problem, but I hope you can find a way! Maybe 5c would know what to suggest? Boy those juices you mention sound pretty good!!! Coconut mojito? Mmmmmmmm
I'm not tasting much coconut in it Tracy, but it is different. I find myself picking it up more often between my other usual vapes, but the roof of my mouth has issues with any of the citrus vapes I've ever tried. It's good, but leaves the roof feeling raw
I got lucky and remembered that I had printed out a copy of last years tax forms, I found them in my file box (aka, ottoman at the foot of my bed lol) so I don't need the other computer. He had been having some oddball crashes and my bet would be either his power supply is going bad, or possibly his mb. I don't think he'll be needing it any time soon anyway

Sounds tasty except for the cocnut. I'd rather eat it than vape it.
Back alive, upgraded, once I got home. Didn't help that I had a bad data cable too (used Wifie's) I'll still likely take the phone being sent to me by Moto, return the current one.
Bov, depending on OS, you may already have a recovery partition on the computer. Try the different function keys on startup, see if one of them gives you a recovery option. Otherwise, for older OS there are usually expandable recovery/boot CD images available, for instance I have bootable XP DVD. One of the function keys gets you to CMOS setup, there'll be a choice for boot option, set CD/DVD higher than hard disk, then put the recovery/boot DVD in and restart.

Just put the install disk in and instead of install click on repair windows.

Thanks Mark, I can get to the bios fine, and can likely boot in safe mode to be able to download the missing .dll. I'm not going to mess with it since it's Kevin's computer, Lord knows what he's done to it in the state he's usually in when using it. I know that he had overclocked the crap out of it at one time. No real point in me working on it since I think he has windows passworded anyway.

I doubt I could even find the install disk 5c...we lost a lot of our stuff when we lost our storage unit.
