I doubt Phil really cares. I'm sure he's entirely willing to walk away from A&E if they try to gag him. I suspect the rest of the family feels the same way. I don't know what their contractual obligations are with A&E, but I'm sure plenty of other networks would be thrilled to have them.

I said my piece about Papa Duck on FB too Dee, but I took a little heat for my comment. I can't and won't defend his beliefs, but unless he made derogatory and vulgar remarks in that mag interview, I feel he's entitled to his freedom of speech. He's not entitled to everyone's agreement, or to be paid to spread hate.

Poor hubby slipped on the steps and fell. Good thing he was near bottom. He thinks he snapped his hip in instead of out but he's got an awful bruise and scrape.

(((Fran))) So sorry to hear about Wayne's Dad. Will keep Wayne in my thoughts. The situation reminded me of my Dad in the fact that he never woke up once at the hospital. That stinks. You just "hope" they can hear you.

Little known fact but I was raised by a gay woman, my favorite Aunt (that I miss terribly and was like a second Mom) was gay, and my favorite Uncle is too. I've met no better people in this world than them, they'd give the shirts off their backs to anyone who needed it. Am I gay? Absolutely not a single bone in my body, but Love is Love in my book and equal rights to all.

Fran, I'm sorry to hear about Wayne's dad. My heart hurts for him, and both of your families.
I worry about Katie falling too Fran. The front and back steps both have a (fairly useless) tiny peaked overhang, and as the snow and ice melt, it pours down on the stoop, steps and walk. No matter how much salt melt you toss on it, it's been a solid sheet of ice up until today. We got quite a bit of melt today, by the time the rain gets done I expect we'll have the basement water problems.

Bov I find that duck show rather silly...I've not read any of Robertson's comments nor will I...He ain't no icon too this Southern Boy...I'm sure the FB friends are up in arms...
The only box my local TS had was covered in dust...I did see a few minor scratches and was given an additional 10% off...I got it and brought it home...After washing off the dust I found much more shipping damage than I'd bargined for...The next TS down the road has another in better shape and is willing to trade...I didn't have the box with me when I rode over there...Light scratches on this one as well and the guy there seemed too think his manager would give me more than an additional 10%...Thinking about returning the first box for cash though,,,I can always drive a hard bargin with cash in hand...279 turned into 201...Hey my gas ain't free...I'm looking for an even better deal...
