I expect this will be my MIL's next problem, her furnace is about 30 years old! Water heater is about 15. Hope you're keeping warm until they get you fixed Fran.
Woodstove's going Bov. Nice and warm. Furnace only kicks in overnight when the woodstove dies down. It still works but it smells.It will be nice to have a non smelly furnace.We put in a new water water about a month ago. The joys of owning.
Hahaa Sash! I could if the furnace was electric, but it's natural gas! The hot water heater, now there's an idea 
What a day. Sometimes I wonder why PC manufacturers build all those wierd idiosyncrasies into them just to make people send them in to be repaired. Sorry to hear you are having sadness in your life Fran.

But the furnace does use electricity to run the fans and to turn on and off.
That is why I either build my own, or buy a custombuilt computer in a stock case. Anyone that wants to know how, can service them.
I LOVE by computer from CyberpowerPC, was actually cheaper than building it myself, and I got to hand select every componant for it.
I built one water cooled PC and a few others but unless your a gamer it's not worth the cost of an over the counter. Better yet is a good case with Good Mobo/ intel I7 processor for general internet use. The one I'm currently using is new with an Intel I7 processor and a workstation Nvidia Graphics card because I do more graphics than gaming. I put an SSD in it but it didn't work any faster or better so I took it out and installed in in the PC I use for video Work. Them I7 processors are fast. I love em.
The ones I work on are old PCs and Laptops that need repaired for people that don't have the money to get a new one. I'm just trying to help the less fortunate get buy but sometimes it can be a challenge.
I'll have to check out those Cyberpower PC's They sound pretty good.

Here it seems if we don't have bad luck we have none at all. Our gas heater is running in the cellar to protect our pipes and the house is toasty warm with the wood stove but we still have no running furnace. Our old furnace was easy to work on but these brand new ones are computer controlled and it seems the computer won't tell it to run. This will be resolved tomorrow one way or the other.
Mom had a computer controlled gas pack....I'd become quiet the expert at making that dang thing run....Finally a crack formed on the heat exchanger...It's electric now!! Fran if it's needing repairs right outta the box.....NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about that boy? He finally decided to shine and very brightly I might add. But we also have an excellent offense, defense and special teams for a change. The whole team is very good. I went on Seahawks facebook page and admitted I was premature with my opinions of him. Well actually I admitted I was wrong.
Our January thaw is rolling in this week 40s, then 50s this weekend, fine to work on the camp. It's supposed to get really brisk again a week or so out, but for now it's all good.

Five...RW led my WolfPack too more than a few victories...For reasons unknown too me he left for his senior year...The coach was fired at the end of this season...there was something fishy about all that..The pro game takes some adjusting...IMO RW will become a big star in the NFL...
