Completely expand your FaH window Ark. Then in the upper right hand corner change the drop down menu (you won't see it unless you expand the window) to advanced. Go into configure on the top left, go to slots, and there you can change the number of cores you run on. I have mine set on SMP 2. I have a quad core, but I only want to dedicate 2 cores to folding.

You can disable the GPU if it is running on your machine. It will be listed in your "slots" page. Highlight it, and remove or delete it. I keep my GPU slot installed but don't run it often. On the main page you can right click any slot and choose "pause" to turn it off.

No worries, it's not for everyone. I had to tinker with it to get it set the way I wanted

I finally entered the cell phone world today...it's gonna take me a lot longer to learn about it than it did the FoH program LOL

I got one that collects more dust than anything. I charge it more than I use it. Never was a phone person though.

I agree with both of you, Fran and 5c. I'm not much of a phone talker either, but it's good to have it when I'm out and about. Tracfone is what I got, double minutes for the life of the phone and the minutes are good for 180 days. I got the big button old lady phone LOL!

We have a tracfone too Bov. I buy one card a year. It costs $99 at Wal-Mart and it has 1 year air time and more minutes than we ever use. They just keep adding up.

My wife uses about 3000 minutes a month and I use a ton of apps including wireless tethering. Ours is about $120/month. 2 phones, no landline.

We also have fancy hitech phones that are never more than 18months old

In this 3 years of hubby's unemployment, I've learned a big lesson in want vs. need.

Sorta like my Buzz Pro, it does everything I need, and it's simple. I wanted the same thing from a cell phone
