Hiya, Evie !!!!! Fran is about 75 miles north of me.

Evening,Evie:) This kind of heat and humidity isn't the normal weather here thank goodness.

Hey Fran and Papa!!!! So this isn't normal weather up north just like our winter wasn't our normal weather this last year. :) Actually I think this summer has been cooler than normal probably all that rain we have been getting but really August and September are usually worse.

We need rain, lots of rain. I haven't cut the grass in over 3 weeks and as of now, all that I have to do is some spot cutting.

Our grass is high. Hubby plans on mowing tomorrow.

Tehehehe I haven't mowed since I was a girl at home. That's what I have a husband and kids for. LOL Of course they've now invented the riding lawn mower since I last mowed.

I have a lawn tractor and a push mower for the tight areas. I think that I will only need the lawn tractor, the next time that I cut.

I think that it's normal weather for us, here in southern New England, Princess. Fran is in northern New England, so even though she's only 75 miles from me, it may not be normal weather, where she is.

September starts out hot, but by the middle of the month, it cools off quite a bit.

Our October starts out hot then usually when we are rolling yards at Halloween it starts to get cooler. But most Thanksgivings are still nice weather.:)

Not us. By October, autumn is definitely here. The leaves turn, around the middle of the month and most are off the trees, by Halloween. Then it's time to hook up the trailer to the lawn tractor and rake up the leaves.

It's not uncommon for us to see some snow by Thanksgiving, but most of it holds off until January, that's when we know that winter is here.

And y'all don't ever have tornado's? That just blows my mind. I guess I just figured everyone in the U.S. had tornado's. Really the worst tornado's here are usually when it gets cool. For some reason the meteorologist can't spot them as well when the northern cool front moves in. It takes people by surprise and their is usually more deaths it seem like in the fall than in the spring. So far this year has been really mild on tornadic activity this year. So far........crosses fingers. ;)
