Afternoon all! Patched a couple of holes in screens for Katie this morning. She was fussing about bugs being able to get in...thru windows that she never opens 
My Sunday School lesson for the day...Hell can't be any worse than ours temps combined with Katie's temper, so bring it on!
She woke me at 7am because she couldn't find her billfold and wanted to go to 7:30 Mass. She's still mad at be because I rolled over and went back to sleep instead of getting up and turning the house upside down to look for it. She found it on top of her dresser, where she always leaves it

Miserably hot. I'm a little worried about Katie, she seems more out of it than normal today, her thoughts are more scattered and confused that usual. I can't talk her into going to her bedroom and turning her ac on. I'll keep a close watch on her 
Hope she'll be alright Bov. The heat is awful. Can't wait to get some relief tomorrow.

Katie seems less out of it this eve, what an odd love/hate relationships we have. Guess that is inevitable when you have two take charge type women in the same house. I may fuss and cuss about her, but I won't let anything happen to her if I can help it

Bo I have had two days of hell. That %&*((*&%#$^ motor job is entering it's third day. My $'s have decreased close to $200.00 having to pay for parts to put it back together and having to pay for a engine hoist rental that has a motor hanging on it. I like helping people but this one is killing me. Oh well, you know what they say. Que Sera Sera.
I hate to hear that 5, I know you won't see that money back in your pocket. Just consider it a good deed, and don't stress yourself over who it's for

I don't stress about the money ever Bo. The lord will provide more of that. It's the endless surprises of broken parts and turning a 4 hr. job into 3 or more days. I'm over it now. I just came in and was hot and beat from fighting with that thing when I vented in that last post. Thank you for caring though. Your a great friend.

Five...Take it easy with that engine my friend...don't overdo it...Soon it will be just a bad memory....
My old Bronco has a rather expensive Holley carb...At some point it was damaged by ethanol....Looks as if my "carb guru" status will be tested again...I'm gonna tear into it in a day or two...The new power steering pump it acting up as well...Pay for good parts and get rebuilt in China junk...Nothing like doing a job twice...Here's hoping the next pump will actually be worth putting on...I requested the best pump Car Quest stocks...They went corporate a few years back...Looks as if I may need a new parts source....
We've been getting rain off and on...Counties too the East and West are experiencing flooding...Some areas are pretty extreme...We're very wet but managing just fine so far...News this am...A tropical system formed overnight...Long range forecast has it heading our way...Forecast to build but then fall back to a depression before landfall...Any wind at this point would likely cause major loss of trees...Several large trees have fallen already due to the amount of moisture in the soil...I've only lost limbs....The humidity remains unbearable...Whatever comes this way we will be prepared...Clear skies would be a blessing...
Picked up 2.5 Evod coils last week...I'm pushing more voltage thru them than I like...They gain ohms rather quickly during use...I'm gonna pick a pack of 2.2s here in a minute...I prefer a long drag with plenty of vapor...Not the happiest with the 2.5s that when last checked were 2.7...It's gonna take a little experimentation....again..................
