Our flurries cleared out to a gorgeous clear evening sky, but the snow is an inevitable part of living here. Like Denrock, our weather is calling for snow mid week.
Dee, you bet I'm gonna file, and I'll also file the waiver asking the judge to dispense the court, filing and process server fees. Legal Aid did tell me that with him in the can, the judge will likely waive those fees. But I did again get the advice (from trusted friends as well as legal aid) to wait until January to file. Seems that the 10 year mark is a magic number in divorce
Oh yes indeed girlfriend!!! That 10 year mark is critical.
My ex and I are civil now, and both wish we had done it ourselves vs paying lawyers WAY TOO MUCH $$$. He got off way cheaper than I did bc he offered work in exchange for his fees. (shi*head)
It's always been a question too me why it is a legal divorce when it was holy matrimony. The law was no where around when I got married so other than taking my money why are they poking their nose in my business.
