Yes, PI, a lot of blue-eyed, brown-eyed, hazel-eyed, children weren't born, because their future fathers didn't live long enough to become parents.

But I disagree with your last sentence. Certainly, some would have followed the "perverse" route, but the vast majority would have been fruitful, productive citizens. It's a moot point, however, because they were not born.

I misspoke, Jerry, or misconfigured my words. My bad, among so many bads.

The "blue-eyed" I spoke of--and the perverted world they would inherit--was Hitler's conception of a blue-eyed, fair-skinned variety of men that existed only in the mind of himself and the beer hall drunks who became the leaders of a perverse nation.

Look into Adolph's eyes. Blue? I don't think so. Black. He was an Eastern European Slav, and he hated himself, a hatred so intense it migrated to Jews.

Here's a bit of trivia for you, PI.

Did Hitler server in the U.S. Navy? Yup, he sure did, but it wasn't Adolph, it was his nephew, William Patrick Hitler. He volunteered for the Navy, but he had to be cleared by the F.B.I., before he was allowed to join. He served from 1944 - 1947. After the war, the family name was changed and William Patrick's sons vowed to never have children, in order that the Hitler bloodline, die out.

Jerry Happy Memorial day to you buddy.
The whole family have no offspring because of one nutjob that suffered ,among his many other mental deficiencies, feelings of grandeur. I think that's taking it a bit far. Maybe the time Adolph was conceived they were on an acid trip.

5card, I think that they made that decision, because that one nut job, disgraced the family name. Think about it, when one hears the name "Hitler", who do we thing of and what do we think of? The war, the destruction of Europe, the Holocaust, that's what we think of. Sure, there were other Hitlers, just like there are other 5cardstuds and other JerryRMs, but it only takes one to destroy a family name. :(

I know I'm firing up the DVR for History's special tonight....

Ran into another head on collision traveling home today...Memorial Day beach goer in a bit of a rush going home...Road was closed for 2 hours...During this time I acquired a new friend...76 year old fellow still driving a 66 Ford pick up he bought new...Met him in the parking lot of a convenience store that happened to be near the crash...

Now where is that dang tub????????

Ya I see that point. I don't think I'd go as far as to punish my would be offspring but with all the death and disgrace Hitler brought on his family I can see where they're coming from. It's funny he had enough control to have that many people follow his sicko ways instead of just killing him. I guess you had to be there to fully understand.

LD be safe buddy. I'm afraid I'd be in jail if I got in a 2 hr. traffic hold up. That's my weak point. Patience and driving. I've only had 1 accident that was my fault though.

5 that was a nasty wreck and I came up on before emergency crews...The road was blocked so I looked for the first shady spot and dived in beside that black 66 Ford...That old cat was sitting there enjoying a Coke full of peanuts...We kept on shooting the sheet for about 15 minutes after the accident cleared...Believe this...we saw plenty of enraged people turning around in the parking lot...SMH??? I just roll with the flow....

Hitler fed on their bitterness about losing the first world war and the terms of the peace treaty that put all of the blame and the cost of the war on Germany. He promised to make things right again. Hitler was pure evil and a lunatic, to be sure, but he knew how to manipulate the German people.

I believe that. He was also a coward and couldn't face the music. Took the cowards way out when he killed himself.

Then it was worth the wait LD. Nice when you find people you connect with.

Yeah I'd have to say meeting that guy today was a big plus...I like talking with people who have more life experiences than myself...and he had plenty...

Coke with peanuts requires coke in a glass bottle...I had a diet coke{can} and a deluxe mixed nuts...I only drink DC when out and about...None allowed in the fridge...

So I learned about Hitler....Mussolini.....Patton....McAurther,,,Wilson and I think it was Roosevelt....Very enlightening...Looks to me like the Allies shouldn't have disrespected Japan and the Treaty of Versailles may have been a little to harsh on Germany...Can't wait for part two...

As a kid I toured Mc Aurther's home....All I know is it's in Virginia and not something a kid would enjoy...
