Good morning everyone!! TGIF I must say. DD arrived last night for her Spring Break and I have all my little ducks in a row....just where I like 'em!

Food shopping is on the agenda for me today. We have some icky weather in the forecast until Wed or Thurs next week. Nothing too extreme but just colder and either rain or snow showers possible each day.

Have a great day all.....back later!

Well I have to wait to buy a temperpedic bed. Within a two year time-span we purchased a made to order sleep number bed from Verlo. (They actually make them.) Its their version of a sleep number. It is still brand new set up in a extra room downstairs. Never to see daylight again. Actually, it is in the room of bad purchases. We then proceeded and purchased another bed that everyone raved about. Piece of chit...too hard. Dh loves it....I hate it. We already have over 5 grand tied up in beds...we cannot afford another purchase so soon.

$5,000.00 IN BEDS???!!!!!

Holy cow (excuse the expression Bov) I'd have to open a house of ill ..... never mind.

But with $5,000.00 worth of beds I'd be thinking of some way to make money off of them .... or on them ... whichever the case may be.

I'm with you Fran. Wharfs talking about polishing his stub that's too long. Then there's all this bed talk and cats in the bedroom. I thought for a minute one of the computers I fixed for people had infiltrated my pc somehow because a couple of them had pretty kinky users. But then I finally realized it was just the family forum and I knew I was safe.

Yeah 5Card .... Family Forum ..... yeah ..... sure ..... right!

LOL, with me around you know better than that!!!

Good morning all!
Yes, everythiing is expensive around here. I can't afford another bed right now. I did sleep on the memory foam last night. I was able to fall asleep but I did have a back ache. However, the cat did not wake me up.. I suppose it is a trade off.

Good morning everyone! Thanks for the weather update Tracy, you know that what you get is what I will be getting too LOL!

TT you're too funny! Sounds like an argument I had with drunk hubby not too long ago, about money...or the lack there of. I told him if he needed money (he ain't gonna get it from me) he could go sell himself out on the street corner :glare:

Good morning, all. TT, don't forget to go to the Post Office today.

Yeah kgj, I need to slip uptown to the Post Office and get my box without my wife seeing me.

I'll just tell her I'm going up to the Coffee Shop to see what all the old men are doing and that I'm going to stop by the Feed Store. Then when I get back I'll slip in the garage and open my new box full of T3's and Evod's and replacement coils. Then I can slip them into the house a little at a time and keep building up my stash.

She'll never know a thing! LOL, ha, ha, ha .... I'm wayyyyy to smart for her!!!

Me and lilac are as sharp as a tack!!!!

But I need to be real careful and quiet or I might be sitting here reading my obituary tomorrow morning .... wifey is dangerous!

Good morning Bov!!

79 degrees here today and 80 degrees tomorrow with nothing but sunshine!

Speaking of money ... if I could have kept that good job I had at the Sewage Treatment Plant I'd probably be rich today.

I guess maybe I shouldn't have told the boss that I wasn't going to take any sh** off of him. I was just being nice. There was enough of that floating around there anyhow.

Then they caught me raking off all those valuable things floating around that I had piled up and was going to take home.

So they fired me the first day. But I did work for six hours and that was a nice record ... for me ....

I went and tried to collect that Unemployable Insurance and they told me I must be full of sh**.

I told them I had just got run off for saying almost exactly the same thing, but they still wouldn't give me any money.

LOL, that's exactly what was on my mind when I wrote that!

I try hard to be aware of the feelings of others. I don't always succeed and when that happens I feel lousy, but I do try.

TT

I agree! I try really hard to always think of others but it is so easy to misconstrue words that are written.

I'm glad that you're feeling better, El Dee. I'll be praying for your friend's wife. My dad's older brother got married for the 1st time at 59 years old. Unfortunately, he got colon cancer and didn't make it to their fifth wedding anniversary.

Awe, that is sad Chimney :( So glad to see you here though :)

Just went 15 rounds with Direct TV....A bill that was $88 grew too $98 due too their actions...I was set the hell up...I lost $10 for canning direct pay and they graciously offered the HD free should I not cancel. That would have been $88...for 12 months....agreed on 12/17/12...bill this month...$98....Ohhhhhhh Hell No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been made very clear tonight that next month best be charged at $88...Like it's even worth half that...You all know dang well they know exactly what they're doing...Lucky I can't get my hands on them...

Thanks for the support for my friends wife...We're working on a plan that cannot be discussed here...There is no way we'll give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracy I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's health...Glad it's better and hope she gets too feeling well soon with this bug...Much of my research lately has been diet related...Seems these days companies can use whatever chemical or method they choose getting food too market...Aspartame anyone ????? May not hurt taking a look at what she uses for fuel...I've strong suspicions diet has led my friend's wife too where she stands today...and hey I'm a WitchDoktor so my opinion should carry some dang weight....K ??? Really I feel better post Diet Coke...My hope would be she never has another issue....

I'm here to tell you that head cold was for freekin real...Laying in bed was OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! I was finally able to toss and turn a bit last night...This morning I paid for that as chest congestion had arrived...I feel much better now though....

Careful with that chest congestion, LD! I ended up with pnuemonia lasy summer and it took forever to get rid off :( Don't take any chances and get to a doc if it lingers or you run a high fever.

We pay $160 per month to Charter for TV, Phone and Internet. They are all a rip off IMO Then they will only give you a good price for 6-12 months so that you must call back and haggle, threaten. Why not just give a decent price that is good forever? UGH!
