Hello everyone!!! Just popping in to "see" everyone. Hope everyone is well. (Salem, (((hugs))) and feel better SOON) I have alergies as well and take Zyrtec each night before bed during Spring and Fall.

Please Sdh, you keep up with this thread very well. ;) I always feel bad if I don't respond personally to each post, but when you're 2 or 3 pages behind it gets kind of hard. No worries though, we all understand!

Time to go figure out dinner!!! Talk later...

Tracy, I take Allegra D and Flonase every day of my life. Plus, I have been on allergy shots for right at 1 year now. I still get floored from the allergies at times.

We moved from the coast to the foothills in the upstate several years ago. Thats when things really went down hill as far as allergies go. The air is horrible here. The mountains keep the area like a melting pot for bad air with no movement it just gets stagnant. They actually have flashing signs on the side of the Interstate at times warning when the air gets really bad.

I just need to go home lol <<<<<< That was for Joe :D

Thanks for the well wishes! I am feeling better today and we have rain forecasted for the weekend :thumb:

Salem, I take generic Zyrtec (cetirizine) every day. No one knows for sure what I am allergic to. The sniffles and sneezing aren't so bad, but I break out in hives. Heat makes them worse. My allergies started about 10 years ago right out of the blue.

Zyrtec makes me feel weird. The only thing that I am able to take is Allegra D. I have been tested by allergist so know what I am allergic to. I take weekly shots and they are helping.

You may want to find a good ENT that specializes in allergies and get yourself tested. I never had a single issue with allergies until I turned 35.

Unfortunately, one of the things that I am allergic to is the dust from my African Grey. He is not going anywhere so I have to just deal with it the best that I am able to :)

Bummer about your phone Mark. Sounds a bit like my day. I need a copy of last year's tax return and the file is on Kevin's computer...which won't boot up :( Says there is a corrupt or missing windows dll file. I'm guessing I can't get into the shared network files if I can't get his to boot into windows.

Fran, Terri sent me some pre made juice samples and there is one that made me think of you. It's called Coconut Mojito, a combination of coconut, lime and mint. Made me think of your lime tahiti and peppermint juice. It's way out of my usual bakery flavor vapes, but it's oddly good. The Hazelnut Cappu is pretty good, I haven't tried the dark chocolate or the apple cinnamon yet. These were samples that Notcigs got from Evo. Personally, I think there are so many juice vendors out there, that I don't think it's a good idea to try jumping into the juice side of the business.

Ha, ha. Tracy, that recipe for the Lime Tahity and Peppermint actually originated with me. It has been the only flavor that DH vapes for years now :)

4 parts Lime Tahity to 2 parts Peppermint. Both FA.

Good morning workaholics, snow shovelers and you wonderful elixir of the gods juice makers!

I've never been allergic to anything in my life that I know of ... well, except for that one relative of my wife's that she likes and I'd like to get my hands around his fat neck ... I'm definitely allergic to that clown! LOL, and there ain't no pill to make him go away ...

Anyhow, I'm heading out the door to see what the day brings but had to stop by and say good morning and I hope all you guys with allergies do better today. The pollen here is so bad that I noticed yesterday that the fifth wheel hitch in the bed of my truck was covered with thick, yellow-green pollen. Of course, Yeast Texas is known as the home of every allergen, mold and fungus known to man ... and with all the wild flowers in bloom that probably makes it worse.

Hope all of you have a happy Saturday and I'll be checking in later!

TT

I was tested for food allergies and my skin is so sensitive, it appeared I was allergic to everything. The only way they will test me now is if I forego my meds for seven days and I can't do that. I break out and itch without the pills.

... And doing a great job of keeping it clean :)

Cross country therapist / coach / cheerleader! And you know I love you for that and many other reasons :)

I'm allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs. TT, that yellow pollen is usually from the pine trees, and that is one thing I know I'm allergic to. I mainly just get stopped up with sinus headaches when the pines are doing their thing, and when the mold count gets too high. My airborn allergies are just a PITA, but my Vet won't even perscribe penicillin to my dog because I can't even touch it. Oh...and red wasps! Never knew I was allergic to them until I ended up in the ER about 15 years ago.

Chilly but mostly sunny right now...wicked gorgeous day!

TT, I do hope that today brings good things your way.

Every time that I hear you talk about your wifes cousin, I have to LOL (<<<< for Joe) I have never heard you speak of anyone the way that you speak of him and he must truly grate your nerves!

We are not even to the point of having everything covered in pollen yet. There is something to look forward to :D

They took blood to test for food allergies with me. Thank goodness the only food allergy I was positive for was peanuts.

But, yeah, you do have to be off the antihistamines for 1 week before testing. That is rough.

I have always been allergic to bees and wasps. I carry an EPI Pen around during the summer.

Get outside and enjoy that beautiful weather if you are able to :)

I am allergic to penicillin as well. Pollens too!

Glad you had some nice weather Bov, it's pretty windy here.

Well, we did all take a turn with the stomach virus and thankfully that's gone. In it's place....ready for this?.....Had oldest dd to docs on Monday for an antibiotic for a throat infection. Registered Madison for kindergarten in August, shots and doctor visit scheduled for this Tuesday, AND poor middle dd needed to go to the doctor after school on Friday because she woke up with a sore throat and as the day went on, she was sneezing and blowing her nose like crazy. Doc said "no meds needed" as it wasn't real bad yet. She woke up this morning and was sick to her stomach and vomited. Blah!!! Can we catch a break????
This Mommy is tired of going to doctors! lol
That my friends is why I have not been around much. :(
