Using 36mg pg based nic and a target of 12mg, 70/30 pg/vg, and pg based flavoring to make 10ml. The pg/vg mix is off. It shows adding more vg than pg for a 70/30 mix. I'm obivously doing something wrong.
This calculation can't be correct, right?

You did everything right. 
30%VG in a 10ml bottle is 3ml VG. Like phonedude said, the calculator takes into account the PG/nic and also the PG in flavoring.

Yes it is correct. Don't forget that the 33.3% of Nicotine ejuice is also PG. Which would make 60% PG plus your 10% of PG flavors.
But I can see where it could be confusing.
Ahh, didn't think of that. Thanks, maybey I've finally got this thing down now and can do my own calulations. It's weird, so many times I've looked at this thing and couldn't make heads or tails of it, then this morning I opened it up and punched stuff in.
Will do GZ. Don't know how remarkable it will be, but as long as it suits my taste that is all I can hope for.
