The picture is of my father. First day out, after 3 months at the VA hospital. Lung disease. He is taking it so well. Better than me sometimes. We laughed, when we took this picture. Because he only made it half way down the driveway, and had to take a break. Downhill at that. Note the oxygen tank. He blamed it on the oxygen tank, said it was heavy.
My father wants me to quit. And I want to quit. This picture helps me. I dont want to end up like that too.
Thank you, ladies and gentleman. Really. Thanks. Im still smoking some analogs. Was smoking 2 packs a day. A web company got me for 200 bucks, and it didnt work. Gas station 510 is better. Between the two ecigs Im doing better than 2 packs a day.
Can hardly wait to get my PV order, that all of you helped me with.

I too have recently started vaping after over 40 years of smoking.. We are all here to help each other along.. It took me a few weeks to find the flavor (I was a menthol smoker) that got me off cigarettes for good.. Its only been a couple weeks for me and I have times when its difficult, but I just pick up my favorite flavor and vape a few minutes till the urge passes..

Welcome to ECF! I am so sorry to hear about your father, I am sure it is impossibly difficult to face at times.

WANTING to quit is the first step to being successful. You will find like many of us that an e-cig is a dream come true. I myself have failed many times to kick the smoking habit, but now I KNOW I will never fall back into it. Quitting was never this easy for me, I feel so blessed to have this technology.

actually the perfect taste for me was an e-cig from green smart living.. I RYO'd and went to the tobacco store for my supplies I had started with some juices and an ego etc that my son sent me but nothing that made me totally quit.. When in the store they asked why I was not buying my usual amount of tobacco and tubes, told them I started vaping and had cut back to about 5-6 smokes a day.. they just started carrying the gsl starter kits and had samples.. when I tasted it, it was the perfect taste for me.. have not had a .... since that day.. almost like menthol and MAYBE a hint of bubblegum, cant quite place it, but I love it.

I still fill the carto's that seem to have residual effect with menthol drops from Virgin Vapor and a menthol from Magic Mist.. I have a couple other menthol flavors from different vendors but not too impressed. the 2 I mentioned so far work for me in the cartos and my vivi's. I also will add a little to the berry flavors I have and are enjoying them..

Camebul- You can do it. Make sure you order a strong enough juice. I started with 24 mg and had to get some 36 mg to get me through those tough times. The first few days with no analogs were pretty tough but it has been over two weeks and I am just fine! Vape On. And a big hug to your Dad.

there are many vendors that have menthol.. I am sure that I will try others, I have an order coming from heathers heavenly vapes with a menthol along other flavors.. there is a local B&M that carries a couple menthol flavors that are ok.. But like I said, I loved the GSL e-cig menthol and that made me quit.. I find when I refill the carto's there is still a hint of original flavor along with the menthol I add and I enjoy that too, almost too much! But so far, the menthol drops are my juice favorite with 6% nic..
