Cool. I think I'm going to have to keep my accessory habit in check.
For the first couple of months, it's all about learning what method of vaping works for you. If you think you would like the convenience of cartos, give them a try, and I would order a drip tip to see how you like it. Unlike most, I'm happy with cartridges. I have cartos and I have a drip tip, ocassionally I'll use them, but I do like my carts with blue foam (can't do the polyfill carts that come with it).
I would caution you, because I went through it. After coming off analogs it is hard not to bring the addiction mindset to vaping. By that I don't mean being able to take or leave vaping, I mean the years of conditioning we, as smokers, have acquired. Throughout the course of my smoking life I had to make sure I had analogs--get down to four in the pack, middle of the night, no way to go get some, PANIC!!!!! Car has a dead battery when I'm running out to get some and I'm about 7 miles out of town, run around the house going through the ashtrays and calling all my friends and family members to say 1) Need a ride to town NOW 2)Can you bring me a few smokes until I can get to town--. It was sheer anxiety when those situations occurred, it conditioned my whole body and mind to insure those times didn't happen. With the Joye 510 I still had that panic come over me and I carried twice the extra gear with me to insure I wouldn't run out of anything when I wasn't near my passthrough. After ordering the eGo and Riva that fear is slowly subsiding and I can actually leave the house with only one or two extra batteries and juice. Slowly but surely my mind and body are learning to trust my PV's. However, for the first 2 months- I would say, I kept feeling the needing to have extras of extras of extras. Remind yourself of that when making purchases; is this something I need or something my addiction is telling me I have to have. An extra battery or two is a need, a pack of extra atty's, an upgrade to a PV you are happier with can be considered a need--however 10 extra batteries and 20 attys are not. Hmm, or they could be to get the security you need, however just remember those years of addiction conditioning from analogs are going to take time to recover from.
