I tested my atty today ad set it to 200 Ohm's. Nothing showed but a 1. moved it all the way up testing each level til I got 2000K. It was showing 1500 and would climb til it read 1 again. This is definitely a though away?

If that reading is correct it sounds like a bad atty. I'd test another known good atty to see what reading you get and compare.
Your meter should be set to the lowest ohm selection available then touch one lead to the center post of the battery connection and the other lead to the threads.

Oh yeah the other came to about 2.2 Ohm's. I have a pic of what I just took out. But can I post here?
