Sterile cotton is sterile because its soaked in hydrogen peroxide not something I want to vape

Before I started using sterile gauze I checked out the issue of inhaling hydrogen peroxide and I came to the conclusion it was as safe as anything else we vape. Wish I had bookmarked some sites, but I didn't.

This was not meant to try to tell anyone what they should or should not do. I just had not seen anyone post a before and after on cotton boiling and since I did it I figured I would post just in case anyone else was curious.

Like I said I had never boiled before, I didn't really notice it being cloudy until I looked at the plain water. That being said I don't notice much of a taste difference in the cotton.

I wouldn't worry too much, we're all different. We all build a coil slightly differently, prefer different resistances and have different tastes in juice. If you feel more comfortable boiling your cotton, then do what works for you :)

As long as you enjoy the vape, at the end of the day, that's all that really matters. It was interesting to see the outcome of boiling the cotton though ;)

I have been vaping with organic, hydrogen peroxide bleached cotton balls from CVS straight out of the package for months now. They give off very little initial "cotton" flavor, less than some boiled yarn I used previously.

The picture in the OP has me curious though, so the next chance I get I will boil some of the cotton balls. I will also boil some water without cotton balls in it the same way, to see if the haziness is different. I wonder what it could be, if it is in fact coming out of the cotton balls. Could it just be scorched cotton particles from the edge of the pot? The hydrogen peroxide can't be causing it, and really shouldn't be harmful in trace amounts anyway.
