This might be horribly noobish, but variable volt box mod question

I just got my second order from madvapes, amazingly fast shipping and they really went above and beyond! They sent me a few ml of their custom RY4 since I made a note about them needing to get the Dekang back in stock. I really wasn't expecting it and couldn't be happier, THAT is how you earn a loyal customer base!

In any event, I got the Variable Volt Box mod (here: Variable Voltage Box Mod) and have my charged batteries, 2.5 and 3.0 ohm dual-coil cartomizers and new juices. What I need to do is adjust the pentiometer before I fire it up, and I don't know which way to turn it to do so. I'm going to look for my multimeter when I get back from a wedding (oh how I wish I could use this there...), but in case I can't find it I'd like some advice from people who own the box if possible. Thanks in advance to whoever is able to help me out.

And again, madvapes has blown me away twice in two orders. Keep it up, guys, love what you're doing! And I might swing by the store one weekend just to say that in person.

Knob full left is min. Full right is max. Start with the knob slightly below half and go from there.

Oh crap I think I had these mixed up which would help explain why it appears I've killed a couple LR attys. So Max "all the way right" looks like below? If this is the case mine came on max and I assumed it was thus Min (though I also think I read as much but now not sure).

The "other way" has the slit facing down to the right.

Correct. The photo shows the voltage set to max.
