I generally just try and stay out of the Health Q's section on here. I feel infinitely better since quitting analogs. The first month was awful though. I had really bad flu like symptoms, muscle cramps/spasms, bleeding gums, general exhaustion, and headaches. I got really worried some of these symptoms were from vaping but after some research I could quickly attribute them to quitting smoking and withdrawal. Now I feel great and have none of those issues anymore and I vape about 3-5ml/day. If people are having issues they are concerned about it's up to them to seek medical attention. Getting medical advice from a forum is probably one of the dumbest things anybody could do for themselves. I have no interest in reading a 10 page thread about somebodies issues. I only care about my health issues and when I have a question there are two doctors in my family I call or I go see my physician if I can't get an answer...

At the same time people coming here should really do some basic research about common e-cig symptoms and health changes when you quit smoking. Just seen a thread of someone complaining they are short of breath after 3 months of quitting, well if they bothered to do a basic search they could see this is a completely common side affect of quitting cigs.

I've also noticed this board attracts all the hypochondriacs who are convinced they have health issues then get all defensive when people tell them to go to the doctor. I just want to smack people when they rattle off all these health issues and then say they haven't been to the doctor.

I also agree with the OP on this. It's ridiculous that people get so bent out of shape when someone posts symptoms they're having and wondering if it could be related to vaping, when these same people have no problem answering the same questions over and over about which pv to get or what their favorite juice is. The most annoying to me are the ones who want to point out all the things in life that aren't safe or good for you like driving, caffeine, the sun, etc. When someone just wants to find out if vaping could be causing them problems. It's not realistic for someone to run to the doctor every time they have a problem and should be able to come on here and see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Also, why is the health section so far down on this site? Seems to me like it should be near the top not buried down at the bottom.
