I always point new guys towards the madvapes dual coil carto ego kit. Ego batts and dual coil cartomizers always hit well with the people I convert. I always hook them up with some BlueMist Vaping Supplies juice, maybe some TW pillbox 38 if I'm feeling greedy

If you want to stick with a cigarette sized PV then v2 doesn't seem that bad, although I've heard the volt is one of if not the best cigarette style devices. Also has a slick as hell PCC, I might buy one just to have that!

so you dont burn your cart Once you get the burned taste you might as well throw the cart away I know alot of ppl say you can clean the cartomizers by boiling them but I have ruined waaayyy more than I have been able to salvage.

You can't "unburn" a carto, you can (sometimes) clean the other niquid flavors out of them this or clean them to unclog and work better , but nothing will get the burned taste out- once burned they are done.

Incorrect at least with CE2's carts you can actually burn them off and clean them..the wicks in CE2's don't burn..the rubber cups can melt a bit but can be trimmed.

It's true it probably isn't possible to burn off a polly filled cart because the polly melts a little (one reason I don't use polly carts anymore) you probably could take them apart burn off the wick and replace the ploy packing..but it's probably not worth the time it would take.

Lots of us go through a couple or three styles, variations, and do some experimentation. Everyone needs a backup just in case our main vape fails us for a time (until replacement parts are received), so your original choice isn't a waste. You can also pass on that first ecig to a friend who wants to try vaping (with some new cartos).

I agree that the eGo provides a mainstream ecig with lots of accessory paths available. An eGo with Boge 2.0 cartos is my favorite vape after almost two years of investigating and trying all the available options. While I still use my 650mah batteries often, my favorite batts are the 1000mah eGo-T 5 click batteries. I can turn them off, stuff the ecig in a jeans pocket, and not worry that it might come on when I sit down. Boge cartos don't leak in your pocket, they just work and produce good taste and vapor.

But I didn't and don't regret the Pig Cig, actually I'm glad I got it, except one thing, other than the cost. Just realized it is a D1 (808D-1 battery?). Which means our options are limited, as one ECF'er pointed out earlier in this post; 510 is the thread of choice and has the most options.

Here's the rub. Went to order a dual cartomizer tonight, and that is when I discovered that the Pig Cig is D1 thread, not 510. LiCig has CE2's (dual cartomizers) on their website for the Pig Cig. But, I was not able to use the Boge Cartomizers I keep reading about. I'm sure there is an adaptor that would let me use 510 stuff, but I never really like using "adaptors" on anything.

I started out with a generic 808 starter kit and a spare battery, and when I got my TW Tornado (Ego clone) I didn't like the atomizer/ cart setup, so I have spent quite a bit of energy reading around here and trying to find out how to get back that great vape I get from the 808. As I was reading the above, I was actually hitting on an 808 carto on the Tornado battery using an adapter

The best cartos I have had for the 808 were from Vapor Kings. MUCH better than the ones that came with my starter kit OR the prefilled ones I bought. They work pretty good on the Tornado too for when I want the 3 ohm experience.
