Well, I use a vapouriser. Although I'm quite happy to call it a vaporizer.

I use it for vapourising liquid that I then inhale... so I guess I could call it a vapour inhalator.

I use various ingredients in my liquids and there isn't any one that's in all my recipes. So it's not a vapouriser/inhalator for any particular ingredient.

I don't use it to burn tobacco so it's not a cigarette - electronic or otherwise.

I wouldn't describe it as an electronic cigarette any more than I'd describe a cigarette as an analog vapouriser. ;)

Let's face it. If they want to tax it then they will tax it. No amount of renaming the product and caving in will stop that. But yeah, it's generically 'a vapouriser'. I'm happy to accept that.
I just won't be bullied by the establishment like our US counterparts seem to be.

It's an e-cig
If it's an e-cig then well treat it like tobacco
But it has no tobacco?
You call it an e-cig?
OK well we will call it a 'vaporiser'
But it LOOKS like smoking?
but ...
... and you aiming it at the kids
... and you are evil personified and must be hearded into pens like animals
but ... but ...
It's all very evil and not what God would want so we'll ban it
How about if we ban flavors?
OK, so it's smoking and we will treat it like analogues
But vapor is harmless?
Vapor? So it's a drug delivery device and we'll ban it
but ...

etc, ad nauseum ...
It's like watching a dog chase it's own tail

That is why I would rather just stick my toes in and be stubborn :D
I won't be manipulated. Yeah, i'm stubborn but principled.

U.K
I call it a vapouriser because... it's a vapouriser. That's what it is so that's what I call it.

If you want to call it an electronic cigarette or any name derived from that then go ahead. If you want to call it a table or a fish then go ahead. You can even call it an 'evil drug delivery system' if you want to be really defiant.

But I'll still call it what it is... a vapouriser.

What's in a name? Nothing. e-cig, PV, E-NI. Just because some call it an e-cig doesn't actually mean it's a cig. No more than Cillit Bang explodes very loudly if misused. It's just a product name. ffs
I just wish the US authorities would make that very simple distinction lol
I guess they are not capable of looking past the $$$ signs to use those big brains, the ones that people elected them for on the assumption they would use them whilst in office.
But there again, US politicians are not known for using any latitude. If the NY Post or Fox News says something, they will happily take it as gospel. Apparantly.
