You know it just dawned on me what this vaping reminds me of..Does any remember the stereo wars of 80s and 90s.People wanting bigger clouds and pvs putting out as much power as a small microwaves reminds me of that time..you know you had the people turning their whole back seat into speakers wanting bigger and bigger amps had to reinforce their windows to keep from blowing them out,if it couldn't bust your eardrums it wasn't loud enough..I remember they had to pass noise ordinances cause it was disturbing people ..just a thought

Welcome to today's society as a whole. Bigger, faster, stronger.

thats how we like our women also;-)
Isn't that with everything and kind of how its always been Horses, trains, ships, cars, buildings, ect.... We tend to make things work better bigger so on and so fourth. Its not unique to vaping its a human thing.

The stereo thing still goes on to this day. Boom Cars they call them - and ordinances were passed if a cop can hear you from X feet away you get a ticket. Obviously you can't blare it in residential zones or you get a ticket as well. I used to compete in bass comps back in 04-05. They started cracking down then.

Street racing really got a nice crack down when the first Fast and Furious movie released.

I have a feeling cloud chasing might soon meet this fate. If your cloud is too big, it's polluting too much of the public air space and can get fined.

I've already been kicked out of a "vape friendly" place for blowing too big of clouds. (Atlantis set at 30 watts on an IPV mini)

I was actually going for "more power" from his stand up days which carried over to Tool Time, but those grunts are good as well.

I was going for grunts in regards to the whole

YEAAAA this is my new 1000W .00002 Ohm 18" RDA, check out the clouds on this baby!

mentality.

That works quite well too! Matter of fact, it drew a LOL from me when thinking about it for a few seconds. Picture the guy sitting there and letting out a ginormous cloud followed by a series of grunts..... in the middle of a restaurant..... on Sunday noon...... Mother's day. Then grandma, sitting at the next table grabs her mod and exhales a could that puts his to shame.

Heh, makes me think of this picture (though it may be photoshopped).

well, my vapetron 9000 tastes .......ing awesome so it's all good right...
1 ohm @ 25watt.. theres a reason the 20w is obsolete..
same reason no one wants to buy my damn near brand new iTaste VTR...

Its only obsolete to the cloud chasers still a ton, and I mean a ton, of vapors in here more then happy in the sub 20 watt range, they just get tired of arguing about it so you don't see them.

Remember those days? What do you mean? Those are still my days!! LoL I love car stereo and am a member in 3 different DIY Car Stereo forums!!

But much like all hobbies, people always want to get and be able to go bigger/faster/quicker/larger/sharper/straighter/higher etc... think about ANY hobby you know of or someone you know that is a part of a hobby. They're different hobbies but all have the same inherent faults (who ever has the most toys Wins!). Human Nature at its Finest!!

I remember those days. And think of it every time I see reference to sub ohm. Well, my mod is sub ohm stable. It just hits harder ya know? When I'm driving down the road I have just as hard of a time seeing anything out of the rear view mirror due to vapor as I did due to my sub. My rda is equivalent to the cerwin vega of the day and relatively speaking my apv would have been purchased from JC whitney. So who really knows how long it will be until my "amp" blows.
