This whole Fasttech thing has been discussed ad nauseum. Suggest reading this 3,000+ post thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...30819-fasttech-thread-all-fasttech-posts.html

All I can say is that I have nine orders, received seven so far, loved everything I've bought, and have twice as much gear because of it. Whether genuine or clone, the products I received have worked flawlessly, have been as described, and have been 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of other alternatives. Why people care where others buy their gear is beyond me. To each their own. But, mention Fasttech and the crazies on both sides come out. I strongly suggest reading about specific Fasttech products you are interested in the threads to see if they worked out ok. Most do, some don't. I can tell you that the Innokin, Kamry, Kanger, Nitecore, and Vamo products have met or exceeded my expectations. Some of the clones, including the mech mods, have been as good, and sometimes better than the originals. Some of the products, like the evods, have been great, but I needed to replace the coils. Many of the tanks are just generic to start with and have worked just fine. My orders have taken from 8 to 15 days from ordering to delivery, with an average of 11 days. They don't have many more things that I want from the site, but they are adding new things all the time. Some of the clones are 1/10 or better, the cost of the originals. Excellent way to find out what you like, without selling a kidney, to check out. In many ways, this is a very pragmatic approach to vaping. I was checking out a $60 nimbus at the vape shop yesterday, and I may get it. I can check out a clone on Fasttech for $5.50. I can always buy the real thing later if I like it, and I may do that. There are RBA's (clones), that sell for the price of a drip tip in the States. For the noob, it's hard to ignore these opportunities. I have purchased 11 APV's and mods from the site. I also purchase from US Vendors. Me likee! Really happy with my experience at Fasttech.

I will give my two cents about some of the arguments against Fasttech. My top ten list (I'm sure there are many more):

1. Buy American, China sucks: 90% of all vape gear is made in China, it's a question of price, and paying the middle man and distribution cost (multiply by four for the same product made in the US).

2. By selling below the MSRP, the genuine products are said to be "fake", when in fact they are the genuine article, but not selling at the suggested price fixing offer from the manufacturer.

3. Buy American: I do, much of my gear is not sold on Fasttech, including Sigelei, Provari, etc.

4. Shipping takes too long: Coming from Hong Kong does take a while. A legitimate tradeoff, with free shipping. Also, many items don't ship immediately, but those delays are clearly posted. This is a standard inventory control procedure and Fasttech let's you know in advance.

5. Warranty: Fasttech may have the best warranty of any company in the World. Certainly competitive. Many stories in the threads.

6. Customer Service: Fasttech may have at least as good as any company in the world. Certainly competitive. Many stories in the threads.

7. We should support our local and national vendors: I do, most of my gear is not sold by Fasttech. Their most expensive item is $75. All high end gear has to be purchased elsewhere. I buy or make all my own juice, though I've heard good things about Liqua and Hangsen. Dekang, a mixed reaction.

8. Their stuff is all knockoffs: Much of it is. In many cases, the knockoffs works equal to or better than the original. Caveat Emptor. Do your homework. Buying a brand name is a buying choice, not a requirement.

9. You're un-American: You're out of your mind. Open your eyes. You don't know me. Know thyself first.

10. Fasttech doesn't play by the rules: Sometimes the rules are unfair. I'm not only responsible for putting food on my family's table, but I'm not an idiot, and cannot afford to ignore bargains. I do buy products from Walmart (90% of which are made outside the US). Why do you even care?

Sorry for the rant OP, I'm just sick of hearing about the Fasttech bashers, and am posting my frustration here. Hopefully, some of it is useful to you. I'm sure that there are many Fasttech horror stories. You can get those from any company and I have my share of stories from US Vendors, and, surprisingly, none from Fasttech so far.

Legitimate Questions:

1. Why buy retail, when you can buy wholesale, with no minimum and no shipping cost?

2. Why pay the middleman a premium, plus shipping?

3. Why is my buying a product from Fasttech of concern to others?

4. If Fasttech delivers (eventually) what they advertise at discounted pricing, why is this not a viable consideration and option?

5. Why am I ranting so much? Probably because this is my last Fasttech post (maybe), and I wanted to cleanse and purge, and I haven't had a bad experience. So far, so good.

Anyway, my two cents in a wall of words. Do your homework, you'll be fine. There is no right or wrong decision, just a personal one. Good luck, Power up and Vape On!

I'm liking you more and more every day. Hope to see you in Sept. at Vapefest, or what ever the hell its called.

Agreed.. Some of the folks on this forums are so blind. I wish to not have to read all the rants neither for nor against buy what from who.
Danm! this got me thinking. You know most of what you wear, use, even auto spare parts are made in china.

On topic!
I received 7 orders thru FT and not one problem. Thanks FT.
I can't say the same about a kit I bought from local shop. It poopooed in about 3 weeks and They won't fix it. :glare:

WOW... This is the first time I cant add or take away from a post. I think your post should be a permanent sticky, or better yet, when you sign up/join at ECF, this should be part of the acknowledgement you must sign off on stating that you have read and understand it.

I've ordered several times from FastTech and have been very pleased with their service and delivery... Does it take a while to get from China to Florida, USA? Yep, it does... Is it worth the wait for the money saved? Absolutely in my humble opinion... Have I had issues with a couple of items? Yes... Have they taken care of the issue as expeditiously as any US vendor? Again, in my opinion -- yes they have... So, it comes down to the old 'you pays your money and you takes your chances' as always any where...

Just chiming in from a noob POV: 2 orders, both fulfilled, first in less than 2 weeks, 2nd in less than three. First order (atty) looked like someone had buried it in dirt, repackaged it, buried it again, then shipped it. Thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, works perfectly. No response from Customer Service on multiple inqueries as to it's condition. 2nd order (K100) was pristine, works awesome and is one of my faves. At this point I will order from them when they have something I want. If buying cheap vape gear from China is un-American................never mind, wrong forum. :D

Fasttech.com, I've seen a few posts about people ordering their gear from there, so I decided to take a look and I've found the prices to be cheap as hell, £8.12 with free shipping for an eGO-TS kit? I'm new to vaping so I don't know if there's a difference between the eGO-T and the TS but I've not found a normal eGO-T for less than £15 on its own. So what's the catch here?

The catch is it's a risk in quality - people have had both good and bad experiences there, so you just order knowing it's a risk. They do seem to have decent customer service, for the most part, if you end up having any issues with an item. They ship free, worldwide, with tracking, in padded manila envelopes, no boxes. They have nifty gadgets in addition to e-cig stuff, and, as you mentioned, the prices can't be beat.

Some items are knock offs, others are authentic from the manufacturer, so look closely at pictures and ask on the fasttech threads here, posting a link to the item so people can give better feedback.

As mentioned by previous posters, read the descriptions, and in some cases, totally disregard descriptions as they are inaccurate. Definitely read the reviews and discussions on each item on the fasttech website that you are interested in. That will give you an idea of what to stay away from.

It's addictive, it's fun, and it's a great way to experiment with different e-cig stuff at a cheap price.
