So the other day I made this long post about ordering a V2 starter kit (which I haven't even received yet) and talked to a friend of mine about vaping so he proceeded to give me all his old used (and some new) stuff.

3 ego batteries (plus one twist he loaned me)
a couple tanks with some pre-punched cartos for me to try
a couple clearos of the old non-replacable style
some cartos to use without the tanks
and a plethora of juices to try

... so yeah i owe him big time.

Is it a bad thing that i've already given up on the V2's before I got them? I wonder if they will let me return it unopened haha.

Oh and I just placed an order for a 2x twist kit with a mini nova and an extra vivi nova + case and charger. I definitely like the simplicity and flavor the best out of the clearos

So far haven't had a cigarette for 4+ hours which is uncommon for me and my goodness some of these flavors are delicious, in fact im puffing on some applewood right now lol.

What a good friend that you have! I wish someone had given me a little guidance or let me try something. People at work acted like it was some big secret or something. Odd. So, I went thru the blu stage and the 510 stage, went back and forth with the reg cigs. Said hell with it and got an eGo starter kit. THEN I started getting somewhere. Found this forum, read alot. Tried a couple DCT tanks, they are great if you can get a carto to work after the one that comes in it. So now my latest and greatest find is the Smoke tec Redux clearos w/ the replaceable heads. I did find that the LR heads suck on the reg 1000mah eGos and the twist but the Standard Resistance heads work just fine on both. So I'll stick with those for a while. I get mine from Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com. Good, fast service.

I've decided to pass on the generosity. Why return something when I can give a solution to somebody else like was granted to me.

Going to offer my dad my V2 kit since he "quit" but I know he still closet smokes, if he doesnt use it I already know who I'm giving it to at work lol. Also set my brother up with a battery and a clearo full of melonbacco to take to work today haha.

I made the same mistake. I bought the Volt kit, and although it is very good for what it is, it didn't kick the smoking for me being a PPD smoker. When I bought my Ego Twist, that was it, haven't had an whole analog since. I'm trying to talk my mother-in-law into skipping the Volt kit and going to the Ego first. But, it seems like many of us that start vaping she thinks the Ego's are too big. I got over that pretty quick luckily. I think I'll just have to buy her one for Christmas.

v2 has a 30 day return policy, used or not. I returned mine and explained to them if they had more powerful batteries, and more choices on the delivery system, like maybe a small tank, I would would have kept it. Unfortunately, the batteries are very short lived in between charges, and the carto's are expensive. They are a good company, and I'm not trying to bash them because some people do insist on their vaping device looking just like a cigarette.

Your friend saved you some serious frustration, tearing out of the hair and prob a good chunk of cash.

Awesome! & elmattias is right; you better hope your friend doesn't need a kidney in the near future, because you def own him.

I tried V2 first, believing all there propaganda and self-reviews floating around online. I will credit them with being my first non-disposable ecig but other than that... meh. I went through 3 different defective batteries. Send one back and wait for the next one in the mail; and because I only had one working 250 mAh battery I still smoked... just not as much.

Then tried Volt's kr808 after their customer support convinced me that they have superior vapor because they "utilize a horizontal coil cartomizer". Well that was a lie.

Shortly after I went to two an eGo Twists and a couple of ViVi Nova tanks; that's when I actually quit smoking all together.

I passed the Volt stuff on to my boss as he smokes 4 - 5 cigarettes a day and wanted it more as a novelty. Even with the 808 threaded CE2 clearomizers I gave him he still smokes.

I am afraid to pass along the V2 gear and ruin someones vaping experience.

They have a 30 day return policy. I'd say send that crap back!

And, congratulation! sounds like you're on the right track.

I am actually thinking about opening a small stand at the local flea market to sell e-cigs and juice but i am not sure about it yet cause i dont know how many vapors are in the area i found a supplier that sells the ego manual bat with a clearomizer and usb charger for 6.9 USD i think its a good way to convert ppl plus if i really want to i can have a few for ppl to try while they walk around the market with probally a 20.00 deposit i agree that the e-go is the best way to swap ppl over espically with the clearomizer
