I think allot of people think, when they start their 1st e-cig, that will be the end to analogs.....They're sadly mistaken

U have to "WANT TO QUIT" for e-cigs to work. Its all a mind thing just like going COLD TURKEY or any other quiting help...

If you think that e-cigs will do all the work for you, then you are wrong. Its all in your head.

Not on my planet.

But congratulation on your journey. :toast:

Great thread to read, lots of things I've learned. Well, when I started vaping I had no intention to quit smoking. Thought "let's just give it a go", maybe subconsciously to compensate for failure. In any event - from a 70 to 80 a day habit - day 1:15, day 2:11, days 3 and 4:1, from day 4: zero. Now on day 27 of totally analogue free. Hope never to smoke again. From my limited experience, all I can offer Stomper38 is that, tastewise, the Protank made a huge difference for me. Also, maybe consider giving up vaping as you seem to have kicked the smoking habit.

Giving up vaping is nowhere near the realm of possibility... I need my nicotine... I'd be puffing away in no time... LOL...

It sounds as if something is amiss with your PV or juice if changing the power setting doesn't change taste. If you get more vapor production and heat at higher power your PV is working so you might want to try a few of Vapor Beast's sample flavors to see if you can get flavor change. Vapor Beast only has a very small, ruthlessly cherry-picked selection of juices but they all have high flavor saturation without having any chemical or "off" taste from too much flavor. If you can taste those juices OK you need to order juice from vendors who allow you to specify extra flavor. However, some flavors disappear when too much is added to the juice.

I know my PV's are working... Using 4 different ones daily... It's a delivery issue... Clearo issues first... Now carto issues... The juice is fine and I've tasted its' amazingness in the past... Just not having good luck with delivery lately...

Popped an Empire atty into my VMOD and, so far, not digging it... Still playing with it, though... Seems to have a very specific sweet spot to get it to work properly... (Working much better this evening...Seems to need fed much more than the others...)

Give it a bit more time, I found my self craving for analogs for the first week or so. I started with 12mg, didn't quite cut it, but I switched over to 24mg solution, overdosed on Nicotine (not a good feeling!), went down to 18mg, too much throat hit, so I switched back down to 12mg, and found that it was the right amount that I began with...

From reading your earlier post, 8 watts seems high for any juice, I usually vape at lower, no more than 6 watts for my 50/50 pv/vg mix juices.

From the short time that I've been vaping, I would like to recommend the Pink Spot vapors. They are very flavorful and I found it to be my number one choice for my e juice...

I would highly recommend the Kanger T3S clearo. That thing is solid, just watch out for citrus and cinnamon juices.

My favorite setup is the Kanger T3S + eVic + Pink Spot Tropical Punch 12mg

My atomizer is roughly 2.2-Ohms, I vape around 3.5V to 4.0V usually. I also do a bit of maintenance at ever refill of the tank. Just minor stuff like Q-Tip down the throat of the tank, and blowing out the center pin of the atomizer coil unit of my Kanger.

I really want to like the Kanger Protank that I have, but it feels like trying to suck moisture out of concrete with a coffee stirring straw. It's so restrictive that I'm not really liking it as much as I thought I would. The stainless steel and pyrex-like glass construction is what I like about it, no worries on vaping any type of juice in there...

I've also been vaping the Monster ball e juice 12mg. I'm a fan of the Monster energy drink and it seems to do it for me...

I was a half-pack a day analog smoker, I would highly recommend not going over 12mg solutions. Anything higher I found to be uncomfortable on my throat...

I've never tried the ProTank. But, I've read over and over that it's on the airy side, just the opposite of your experience. It sounds like maybe your airflow is getting blocked.

Hopefully someone with ProTank experience will come along and give some suggestions.

Try cleaning and dry burning your clearos. There are You Tube videos on how to do it for all the popular clearos. Try a new carto in your tank to see if that helps. Some juices gunk up coils very quickly which adversely affects performance, sometimes quite severely.

I just tilt my VMOD-XL to feed it. If it floods for any reason just hold the VMOD vertically and squeeze the bottle to pull the excess juice back in the bottle. If that doesn't help you might want to try an atty with different oHms on your VMOD-lower oHms will produce a warmer vape and higher will produce a cooler one.
