I've been thinking a lot about getting a box mod and the vapor shark dna 30 seems perfect. I only have two things holding me back.

1) the price. I know this is a quality box mod but $200 seems a little steep to me. And
2) the battery life. 1200 mah Lipo battery in a box mod?! That seems a little low to me. I feel like I would be charging this thing more often than vaping it.

So what do you guys think? Anyone have the vapor shark and love/ hate it?

Also what other box mods would you suggest? I need it to be able to sub ohm as I will be mainly using rdas on it.

Thank you for your input!

I believe VaporShark has or will be very soon releasing a DNA30 model that does not use the lipo battery but a user replaceable 18650 battery. I personally would wait for that.

I have a DNA 30 Hana Modz clone from FastTech and I like it a lot. I can vape a Kayfun on that thing all day long and then some. Everyone else is right though, the IPV is big right now and it really is newer technology. 50 watts, man. If you got the scratch though I'd jump right up to one of those 120W raptor box mods or build one yourself if your savvy like that. That'll be my next VW.

I have both the VS DNA 30 and an authentic Hana V3 in my collection. I prefer the Hana mainly due to the ability to toss a VTC 5 in there. The only thing holding me back from an IPV is it's single battery, I would love to see them as a dual 18650. I will rock my Hana as my main regulated atm. Not counting the DIY boxes ofc. I was browsing ebay and noticed the Sigelei 100w box for an okay price. I can't stand the box but for the price, buying it and gutting the Sx330 out of it and tossing it in one of my wood boxes sounds like a promising adventure.

Love my Cloupor DNA30 clone. ------------- Sure it's a clone, but it's a 30 watt mod that only costs $70 delivered. Takes an 18650 battery rather than a LiPo. Looks almost like the Hana, works like any other DNA30 device, cheap enough that I could buy two of them for the price of an IPV and buy 3 for the price of a real Hana.
