Is there any disposable atomizer that would work great around the 8W mark and uses cotton exclusively?

No. Not yet. But there are already commercially available coils using Japanese organic wicks instead of silica rope (Subtank OCC and Delta II coils. However, amorphous silica, used widely in atomizers, seems to be OK.

I hope that we'll soon see OCC coils made for other tanks available on the market. That would be a nice change--not so much for safety reasons but because cotton does taste better.

There are already cotton coils available in UK that can be used in some popular tanks, but they are rather expensive and difficult for us, on this side of the pond, to obtain.

Many US vapers who prefer cotton (or rayon) either rebuild or simply rewick their stock coils.

There has been some speculation, based on several statements uttered recently by various Aspire representatives, that Aspire is going to ditch fiberglass paper and switch to cotton. They already started wrapping that ceramic paper in cotton to prevent fiberglass particles to migrate into ejuice and/or smokers' mouths and lungs.

I believe it's only a matter of time. They just need to sell those old coil heads first. ;)
