Looks like the eGo-U is an eGo clone with CE4 clearos in a kit. There are a few different configurations but that's the one I see the most.

Suggest going with Joye with the Kanger T3 1.8Ω coil... something like this:

Welcome to Variable Voltage - Joyetech eGo-C Twist & Kanger T3 BCC + 3X10ml of Premium E-liquid

One of the few vendors (Canadian) that pairs up the Joye eGo with the Kanger T3 (of course you could buy them separately at other vendors but a decent price here.

There's another kit there that has 2 clone eGo's and the MT3 (that's the same as a T3 but with a metal skin - which means it's heavier - no other difference).

This Joye starter kit has only one Joye eGo-c Twist and as you might know, you really need at least two batts. So... you could get another twist with the kit above:

Or a Joye eGo-c 'upgrade' batt (non variable type).

The kit comes with an eGo charger so that's good. You might consider picking up another Kanger T3 and some replacement coils. Kit comes with one extra 2.5 ohm coil.

coils - suggest 1.8 and 2.2 from experience the 1.5 is a bit hot and the 2.5/2.6 is a bit cool but that can depend on flavor.

As usual, I agree with tmcase. :) And with Kent!

I haven't used the u, I don't think it's very popular in the States. For starters, it's an eGo clone, so we have no idea how good it is. Some eGo clones/knockoffs are very good, especially those made by SmokTech and Vision, but this manufacturer is a complete unknown--at least to me. It may be a good battery, but we just can't be sure. Second, those batteries don't offer variable voltage, which is a very useful feature. So I second tmcase's recommendation to get an eGo-C Twist or Vision Spinner (the latter if your eyes are not what they used to be--the voltage markings on the Twists are almost impossible to decipher).

With regard to C4 clearomizers that come with the kit, they don't have changeable coils (CC or BCC) and I wouldn't bother with that design. CC/BCC is a very practical feature and makes maintenance a breeze. If you like clearomizers, I suggest getting one of the newer ones that come with changeable coils, like Kanger T2 or Vision mini ViVi Nova (top changeable coil); or T3, baby T3, eVod or Tabac BCC (bottom changeable coil).

I recommend the kit from MyVaporStore--it has everything we've recommended above, lets you customize your selection and comes from an American vendor:

Good luck and happy vaping.
