What about 80 watts? It’s the number you origionally mentioned and the one I was going with. In any event though my math was clearly too off-the-cuff it was close enough. 56% is still more than half, and doesn’t affect my statement.No, 140 watts is actually less than 56 percent higher than 90 watts. I'm not just talking about the intensity of the flavor, but especially the flavor depth, the balance between the complex layers and the separation between the various notes in them, and also the being able to truly discern the subtle top notes how they are supposed to, i.e., subtle, yet still distinctive nevertheless, not buried nor undefinable.
As to the “supposed to” thing, these are mass produced artificial flavors we’re talking about not fine wine. If you like it better you like it better though. I can see how a lot more juice and heat would possibly make different chemicals more distinct from each other.
