Not sure what a faux hybrid is myself. I’m not even really sure on hybrid
A "direct-to-battery" connection, a/k/a a 510 threaded connector without a center pin. Here's a photo from VGod's website:

EDIT: A true hybrid mod features an atomizer that is threaded with the tube threads and does not use a 510 threaded cap. Here's a photo I stole off the web:

Hi and welcome. I am a mekkie from way back, but I know nothing about either of the VGod offerings. I would not have a faux-hybrid mod in the house.
None of these are clones at all. I have 20 regulated mods and about 25 tanks from Rebuildables, ones that already have coil’s in them, drippers, and squonks. So I’ve been Vaping been a good three years and I have a lot of info on ohms law. I just didn’t know if anyone had a preference for the Elite or the pro. I also keep all my batteries separate and in safe places. As far as being faux hybrids I’ve never heard of them being so. I will have to look into a faux hybrid. Thanks

Up to you, of course. I hate the nappy things. It's just too easy to get a dead short at the battery top. But you make the call, and good luck.

Thanks - I am very safe. Very. My batteries are all new and I never use a re-wrapped battery in a Mech mad and I always use a tester when I build a coil to go on a mech mod. I like the elite series because it has more insulation in case something does .... up with the battery. Not like if something explodes that little tiny extra insulation is going to help but you know

Wacky! I’ve never even seen a true mechanical then. Every mechanical I have is faux hybrid then.
Not sure what the issue with a faux mechanical is other than that you’re going to need a button top battery ( which are nearly ungettable these days) and a decently protruding center pin though. I CAN see and have experienced how not having both of those things could cause seriously dangerous situations though
