Yep I am somewhat optimistic about it all but of course I wrote them a long letter to stand up. As long as enough people do there is reason for optimism
still want 3 REOs by the end of the year, with lots of spare parts just in case.

If we don't even try to stop the FDA we lose.

One comment alone will not do anything. But if all the people who now vape submit comments it will show we are a large group of concerned citizens.

I want vaping to continue, for those of us vaping now and for the millions of smokers who could quit!

So, I did my part.

It makes me angry....all of it. It's just not fair that people who have never walked in our shoes are going to decide this for us. I've got my comment submitted and I guess that's all I can do. Bah Humbug.

What really bothers me is that it seems no one in a higher power position, that could be a spokesperson for the rest of us, has been found.

Really? No highly visible person has a family member or friend that had his/her life changed by vaping?

Those sitting in the chairs that will make this decision seem to have nothing but words on paper to determine the validity of the FDA proposal.

As vapers we can not let this pass without a fight. Right now our only option is to comment. And wait.

The government -.- they don't need to outlaw things that aren't terrible for us. they need to legalize the things that they've already done this with. it's all backwards!

It's a sad joke really. Tobacco products should have been regulated into oblivion a long time ago and everyone is crying about vaping being a gateway to smoking tobacco. So let's do the math. We must stop people from starting to use tobacco because that seems to be a big issue in all of this. So lets eliminate the possible gateways to tobacco instead of the tobacco itself. The gateways are then eliminated and we're still left with tobacco products being available. Sure does add up and make the powers that be look light enlightened rocket scientists.

I know what you mean. I went directly to look at nic prices! I have plenty for a long while. But is it enough?

This time I left without a purchase.

Nerak I honestly believe that vaping, in the end, will win. I just think it's going to be a very long time/road to get there so I'm not holding my breath. Vaping is so damn logical and works so well that it can't help but be successful. In the meantime, I sit back and patiently wait for those wielding the pitchforks to get a clue. It feels like the dark ages and we are the witches.

^yes but if the proposed regs go through won't our REOs be illegal, or at least illegal to buy more?

What I'm not sure of, when is the soonest the proposed regs could take place? I'm thinking next year - but could be thinking of the state of NY proposed regs.

if it's an immediate threat i may sell the dog to buy more REOs and Wakonda.

sloth- I think it would take at least a year before any regulations would take effect. I don't know if vaping devices would be considered illegal. Good question. I know Rob has a patent on the Reo, so I'm not sure something with a patent could be made illegal after the patent is issued??

Still I ordered 200ml of nic base in the last 5 days. I will do all I can but Once a Boy Scout always a boy scout....I figure I better be prepared for a bad outcome I am a bit short on VG but it will have to do for now.

I imagine VG will always be available as is though, the nic would probably be the only tough ingredient to get

I sent in my page of comments as well. I also sent an email to Senator Ted Cruz. I did receive an email back, but most surely it was just a computer generated form letter thanking me for my comments and they will work hard in the Senate for the people, not the government and they will take my letter and comments seriously. We'll see what happens. All we can do it make ourselves known, that's all of us, and maybe someone will open their eyes really do something for the people.
