Throat hit and masochism

Slightly odd topic, I figured it needed discussion. Does the craving for a throat hit count as a masochistic addiction? Like...we crave that slight pain, I wonder how that relates to the psyche. Personally I enjoy that slight burn, but no other sorts of pain.

Any thoughts?

Do some straight VG and those clouds will be so massive you won't even think about throat hit.

No, it's not a masochistic addiction. First, there is no sexual side to it, though I'm not sure if that is required in all cases to be considered masochistic. Second, IMO if you're vaping at a painful level of TH, you're probably burning juice and that's quite unhealthy. In effect, you're doing it wrong and should figure out how to fix it before continuing.

I don't think that all "nerve stimulation" is painful. I believe one can achieve TH that is painful or uncomfortable but I don't think that is anyones intention or goal.
