When I suddenly and unexpectedly quit, I had 6 packs in a carton and about half of a pack on my desk. I kept them in sight for the first week, so I could defiantly stare them down while vaping away on my ego.
After the week, when I had proven to myself that the quit took, I gave all the cigs I had left to a friend who was hurtin' for smokes. Even now, 8 months later, I am still filled with awe at how simple it was to just turn my back on a 30+ year habit that I had given up trying to give up. Have never even once been tempted to stray.
