Throat hit

I just received my order from mlv. I ordered vanilla cup cake, vadder pudding and fruit smoothie at 50/50 16mg nic. Very tastey but no throat hit at all....Its like flavored air. Im using a ego twist at 4.8 volts. Will stepping change this or is this just normal with a 50/50 mix?

Probably just needs to steep a bit
For me
VG = vapor
PG = throat hit

50/50 should still give you some throat hit

It could be more likely that they sent you a much lower nic level than you ordered.

My Vader Puddin was a 120ml Triple Shot at 16mg. There is definitely a throat hit but I am getting almost zero taste. Seems you and I have a bit of a reverse issue haha.

Born on June 5th 2013. Tried it today and it is still the same, the only change is that it turned a bit darker. Throat hit is the same (which is good!) and the vapor is very good as well.

Is your Vader Puddin bold in taste? What flavours can you pick out in it? Did you order it as regular or have extra flavour added? (eg: double or triple)

I did get two other flavours with my order and those two have much much more pronounced (and good!) flavours despite being a regular and a double.

I get a creamy spiced vanilla out of the vadders puddin. I got it with double shot, it is bold in taste for sure. I emailed mlv and they said to let it steep and that when getting a double shot with vanilla doesn't produce a throat hit that much.

I am finding huge inconsistency from MLV with regards to both flavour and TH. Some have no throat hit or flavour at 18 mg while others are perfect. Not really happy with them at the moment.

I find it hard too vape any juice that is not set too certain standards which is why i love Halo,it has a a plastic wrap seal on the cap and expiry dates and lot numbers,comes glass in bottles and its consistent,who knows what the hell is in some juices?

Halo needs a vanilla custard recipe and has to start selling 120ml bottles

Halo juices are very consistent and good quality but quite expensive and the flavours are unique so can be a lot of money wasted if you don't like them. I do plan on trying a couple of samples now that they are available in Canada but bought Prime, Tribecca and Kringle previously based on reputaion and only liked the Kringle.

Your right on one thing consistency is not there they are far to busy and personally believe very under staffed for the money they make my issue was I ordered during there busy period when it stated 6-8 days beyond there normal ship time no prob but then when I got the stuff 70 bucks worth is was all crap honestly made me ill to smoke they tried to figure the problem out in the end couldn't figure it out and were kinda rude with me towards the end I have player's from them smell like the most nastiest thing ever imaginable thought It was just me nope had several people smell it gross gross gross will never order there again

I enjoyed 2 out of 3 of the juices I ordered from them. Batting .666 is pretty good

Halo juices are good because they are pre-made. So far i've found made to order juices from MLV and Juggies need over a month of steeping before they are delicious. I had to exercise alot of patience with the first bottle of Vader Puddin. I'm glad i got a 120ml bottle....I'll probably have to re-order when i'm down to 60ml.

Halo is not for everyone. I find it meh. Doesn't turn me on and I've tried all flavours. And it's expensive and limited in flavours, so yeah, each to his own.

I got several juices from MLV and, for me at least, they were *all* lacking in throat hit. I've never had that problem with Juggy's. I know what you mean about the "flavoured air" thing...very frustrating. I ended up mixing my MLV juice with Juggy's so I could get a bit of throat hit, and not end up just throwing it all away.

I did the exact same thing. I have some Juggys jokesmoke which mixes well with anything, and had to add it to a few of my MLV juices to get any throat hit. The worst thing for me is I ordered some 3ml samples and loved loved loved the aaaarghwhy4, so went and ordered 2 30 ml bottles. No flavour or throat hit in either one. Very frustrating not only at the wasted money but also because I know it can be great. And no amount of steeping has helped.

yes it does grad, for me the formula is:

nic level = TH

but not always, some flavours can enhance or have a secondary thump in the throat like mints, menthol, cinnamon. so far for me it seems to be the sweeter the juice the lesser the TH (assuming all nic levels are the same).

for someone else itll be different.

as for pg/vg i dont notice a difference but i like 50% VG to add vapor. i dont like my juice too thick so i stay right around 50/50 but my tastes may change next week and so may yours
