Throat-Hit!

party-smiley-048.gif

Yeah, Baby!

That's what it's all about for me. Always has been even when smoking.
That and getting my nicotine dose. It's what made me tear the filters off of extra-light cigs when I had to bum one.
I'm learning to get by without the "rush" and "buzz" which smoking provides but I want the "hit" and I want to exhale a cloud of vapor. Sometimes I get the hit but very little vapor.
In vaping, what causes throat-hit? Nicotine? juice mixture? VG? PG?

YES! Throat hit is where its allllll about with me as well. Blowing out plumes of vapor is rewarding, but a nice solid TH cannot be beat.
The higher the nic content in your juice plays the biggest factor in TH.PG will give you a bigger TH than PG will. Reason being is that PG is a much thinner liquid and allows your atty to reach its fullest heat.
I smoked Camel filters back in the day and I vape 36mg PG. Thats the only way I vape. However if really want to lower your nic intake, you may wanna check out the new Low-Resistance attys along with a mod.

PG tends to give more TH than VG. VG does tend to produce more vapor than PG though. Another way to add TH is to use PGA (pure grain alcohol such as everclear?)

For me, TH and HEAT/TEMP are the most important qualities. It wasn't until I got beyond "stock" batteries/attys that vaping started to feel analog like. 3.7v with a low resistance atty, 5v with a normal atty, or 6-7.4v with a HV atty all offer more in the way of HEAT and TH. Another way to add to the TH might be to add menthol crystals to your liquid. I've never been a menthol guy but word is that added to any liquid it does add to the sensation. I do know from personal experience that Atomic Cinnicide has TH equal to, or greater, than all my other flavors.

Atomic Cinnicide is the vaping equivalant to eating a Bob's Big Boy burger!! ..yeah i enjoy the simple things :)
But really the stuff is amazing! If i could bathe in it, I would! And yes vaping menthol will indefinately increase TH.

I've got a 30ml bottle of AC right here.
I've only vaped it once. At first taste, it had the right stuff but it was all down hill from there - ended up tasting like cinnamon scented soap. Totally ruined my atty for anything further without cleaning.
I'm a newbie. I need to get over my impatience, I know.
I'll check it out again with a dedicated atty and report back.

Thanx!

Interesting. I get the same thing. Sour cherry perfume is what I taste. Smells like cinnamon but doesn't taste like it has any cinnamon in it. You're the second person I've found in the last day that doesn't taste the cinnamon either.

UD.

No. Not exactly.
It tastes and smells the cinnamon but the after-taste is like cinnamon perfume or soap.
It's possible you might have got hold of something mislabeled...which is kind of scary.
It tastes nothing like cherries to me....unless I squint my eyes and taste buds.....(tasting now) well, maybe yes....I can see that.
