Thumb calluses from vaping -- or am I allergic?

I went for a while without playing much at all lately. I just recently started building up my callouses again. I've had offers to play from old friends who still have bands, but I'm getting too old to stay out until way past midnight!

I don't think it is ever too old to stay up past midnight, but conversely I don't do it that much anymore. LOL.

Glad the callus situation is resolving itself.

And nicotine stained FINGERS? For a minute there, I was sporting a nicotine stained stache. It was like Hitler's frankly.

I changed cigarette brands and it went away and when I changed to additive free cigarettes I had no nic stains ANYWHERE. Something to think about.

No, I did not enjoy the Hitler stache, but it did not keep me from smoking either.

No calluses here, but at one point I was pressing vape buttons so often that I got pins and needles in my thumb. I turned the vape around so I could share the load with my index finger, but that just spread the pins and needles there too.

One day shortly thereafter, I was at the doctor for an unrelated reason. I mentioned my vaping issue. It took her 23.8 seconds to diagnose my carpal tunnel syndrome. Oops.
