I was putting the regular plastic thumbscrew back in the mini sub tank after filling it yesterday and I dropped it down the drain in the sink. AHHH. Luckily I have a few dozen extra metal thumbscrews from years of pc repairs laying around and I tried it, and it works fine. MetalThumbscrew.jpg

It's the smaller screws that screw into the motherboard or hold your drives in place, not the larger ones that attach the side panels.

Uh....remember I'm the one that knows how to turn my pc on - in VERY plain English - could you repeat that as if you were talking to a 3 yr. old...(lots of senior moments here). Thanx!

it's not really a thumbscrew, just a small screw. The thumbscrews hold the sides on (those might work but I doubt it). It the screws that are on the inside of the computer; the ones that hold almost everything in. Hope this helps. I'm still using that one in my tank. I'm gonna contact mom and pops to see if I can order a couple extras.
