Just received this of late and had to do a review. Bashik had been after me to buy one since last October but I would not. I wanted another Gryphon which he had quit making. He told me it vaped better than my Gryphon. I didnt like the looks of Prometey - which was at that time called Stamer. So after much talking back and forth - I told him I would buy one if he engraved them and I could get it without the Provari Dimples. He made it that way so I ordered it.

He was right, this is an outstanding drip/drip tank atty. It can be used both ways. Straight dripper, or add 1-2mls right into tank and vape. In the top section - there is a piece of sterilized water filter. This can be changed out and ss mesh substituted. You can add 3 ml to this and let it drip down into tank and not add juice for quite awhile. I put 2 ml in the filter and it works perfect. I did leave the wick down and there was no problem. Too lazy to remove tank and put wick tails up.

Excellent taste and vapor, perfect airflow and wicking. Flavor will wane before you get any dry or burnt hits.

No leaking, you can carry this around anywhere and so user friendly a new e-cig user can set this up after learning coil making. WHICH, this atty comes all set up and ready to go. Coil is installed along with the filter. This is just an outstanding rebuildable drip tank. I can find no fault with it. Machining and finish is excellent, not to mention its all titanium and very light.

Appearance wise the only thing I would change would be to have the entire unit the same size all the way down - no indentation at the bottom.

Prometey can be ordered with or without the Provari Dimples and with or without engraving. Bashik makes it very simple.

Comes with extra screws, O-rings, Filter. Also included is a drip tip, wick and wire.

Price is 120.00 USD shipped. Payment by moneygram - Sold by Art of Exhale on VaporWall

Looks nice. I have always liked using a spheroid for out and about due to non leaking and ease. This provides the best of dripping also. How does the heft feel compared to a spheroid? Also, are the posts screws or allen keys?

Posts use small phillips screwdriver, it is very light compared to SS since it is all titanium.

Looks ok D, but the spheroid works exactly the same so this isn't anything new really
,

Yes, it seems to work the same. However, I never bought a spheroid due to aesthetics. They are both about the same amt of money, but this is all titanium, has engravings which I love.

He is now making me another one, 1 cm shorter and no indentation on the bottom. Should look even better on Caravela. But even if it doesnt, the vape is excellent.

Aesthetically I fully agree with you buddy. This would be very nice in 20mm diameter and quite a bit shorter with a nice simple flush base with no fancy stuff on it other than the engravings.
Although I do like Titanium it never really matches on all the SS mods we have. A polished SS version of this would be interesting too.
Thanks for posting your opinion D

Hey capt, when he first made these last year- called the Stamer, they were all SS, they have since been switched to Titanium.

He is now making limited edition for Caravela, etc type PVs

sent from my Droid Charge using Tapatalk

I've been looking at the Prometey and will be getting one. I'm tempted by the new limited edition (would be awesome on my soon-to-have ELA from SuperT) but I wonder why he decided to make the tank so much smaller. Seems to be about half the size of the original. Visually, that is good, but I like the thought of 3ml of juice rather than 1 to 1.5. I'm thinking I might go with the original, even with that indentation at the bottom - that's really the only drawback, and it's not that big of a deal. Dspin, did he make you one without that indentation?

Yes, the limited edition will be without indentation, shorter and have a flat top cap. If you like the original my friend, ask him to make it like that without indentation. I actually hadn't paid attention to the difference in liquid capacity.

I'm the one who asked him to make a shorter tank, no indentation and flat cap.

Just got a reply back from Bashik - you are correct - 1 - 1.5 ml capacity and only in droplet mode for the limited edition one, so you will want the 3ml capacity.

Droplet mode would be good for at home. IMO

I do like the looks of that droplet mode. I guess, theoretically, the liquid would never flow over into the air passageway. That seems a little too good to be true, but I like the idea and would guess it works very well most of the time (probably good at home, as you suggested). I'm going to get the 3ml version now and think about adding that droplet version down the road. They both look like great attys. I'm using a spheroid right now and love it. I also have an "A7-oid" that works pretty darn well. They all use the same concept, and seem to work quite well. I used SS wicks forever, but have recently switched to cotton and really like it. So much less fiddling around. May or may not be a permanant change, but it's definitely working well for now. Thanks for the heads up on the Prometey - I discovered it through this thread.
