I also have the same symptom like you but it only happens when I vaping too much (my juice is 50 PG/50 VG, at 12mg). What kind of wick and coil that you are using?

I'm using a stainless steel mesh and 30g kanthal gauge wire. I do remember that before i started the symptoms i was chain vaping and if i'm not wrong i had wheezing sound when blowing out air once. Maybe that had something do this with the issues i had. just can't narrow down what was the cause.

I get the same symptons when i chain vape high PG juices. i have switched ALL my juices to at least 50%VG now and I still notice it when I chain vape. Not so much the numbness but just a really tight chest. Just feels like I can not take a deep enough breath. It is not bad enough for me to give up vaping though. Hope you get it figured out.

I have a feeling it takes time for the lungs to filter out glycerine. Seems like the dense vapor from kanthal coils makes my chest heavy, and if I chain it seems worse. When my wife tries my APVs, she always complains that it packs to much vapor into her chest, like a compressed feeling. It could easily be flavorings or something other than glycerin, but you could kind of equate it with inhaling a bottle of hand lotion, that stuff takes time to soak in. That's if any of it even travels with the vapor, could be warm vapor, could be a lot of things. We need more un-bias testing.

Maybe it has something to do also with the fact that if you are continually sucking on something, you aren't allowing your body to get enough oxygen in between. I Vape 100% VG but sometimes find if I'm continually leaving my lips on my Ecig and inhaling solely through that too long, I have to come up for air sometimes. Lol.

I don't want to scare you, but I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion. Sometimes heart conditions can be difficult to diagnose. And you may be in need of medication. Last June I went to the emergency room twice having difficulty breathing and rapid heart beat's and all sorts of other symptoms. They said on both visits I was fine and released me. I went to a cardiologist and within 5 minutes realized I was in heart failure. A few more tests and now I need a heart transplant. Like I said, I don't want to scare you. But you can't f@#k around with chest pains. Go see a good cardiologist just in case.

Ok that does sound scary.. I did make a appointment for a cardiologist, it's on aug. that's the earliest i could get. Guess i better go for it just to be safe. Thanks

Doesn't hurt to also check your blood pressure and make sure it's okay. When I started having high blood pressure problems, the symptoms were some short of breath like I wasn't quite getting enough air sometimes. Also slight fluttering in my heart. Best to rule that out. Can go to any fire station and they will check it for you.

OK. You should try not to inhale the vape into your lungs, just hold it in your mouth then exhale it then do a chain vaping to see if this problem occur again or not. Hope you can figure out your problem.
By the way, don't drink too much water at a same time. Before vaping, just use a little water to soak your mouth then vape. After a few vaping just use a little water again. Don't let your mouth and your throat too dry.:p

recently i said that i was feeling better but that did not last even a day and all this while whenever i vape, a pressure builds up from the left side of my neck to my left chest. I have tried 100% vg, 50pg/50vg , 70pg/30vg etc and used different devices and still i could not stop getting the tight/pressure in my chest to stop. Now i'm back to analogs for the past 2 days. When i'm not vaping i do not have the pressure or tight feeling in my chest. I am really very sad that i am not able to vape. When i went to see the doc, he said is could be ARD but i do not think it's that. Only find this happening when i am vaping. Wish i can figure out what is the root cause. Hate to be back on analogs once again but i don't have a choice. Any help guys? I am drinking water like a elephant and keeping hydrated all the time and after each vape as well but still not much help.

Your symptoms also coincide with panic/anxiety attacks. I'm not a doctor, but let's suppose vaping causes a slight, temporary tightness in the chest. (I get it too if I vape too much or inhale too deeply). Your subconscious mind starts playing out all kinds of terrifying scenarios, so your body goes into flight or fight mode. There's a big pump of adrenaline, which makes your heart race, gives shortness of breath, and draws circulation away from the extremities (which can cause numbness). You don't understand what's going on, so you get more worked up. The spiral continues. Over a week of this, your breathing patterns change and you start breathing with the upper part of your lungs, which is not normal and can cause chest pain/tightness. You get more scared and it continues to build.

I would encourage you to look into generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks. There are many online tests you can take that can help figure out if this is the cause.

Please feel free to PM me if you think this might be the case. I went through hell for years with panic attacks before I figured it out and got help. (Meditation does it for me, 20 min. a couple times a week and I've been fine for a decade now).

hi skoot, thanks for taking your time to help me out. but i do not think this is a panic disorder but i did search more about it and tried to figure out if it was and also the doc told me it could be a panic attack , but i get this tight/pressure just when i vape and am not having any panic or adrenaline rush . I am just normal and not afraid to vape, but when i do vape the tightness comes in. Get what i mean ;) ? what i'm saying is , i am cool and relexed when i'm vaping. just 3-5 puffs is enough for me to get the tight feeling. I am really hating that as it's really uncomfortable. I even tired dropping my nic from 18mg to 8mg and still the same.

has been 2 days now since i started back analogs and stopped vaping and i notice that i have started to clear my throat which i did not for the past few months. Also i am able to sign like normal as i noticed that while i was vaping, my voice would break up. Since trying to figure out what caused this. But i am very sure it's because of ecigs. PG/VG all gave me the problems i had mentioned. Looks like i'm one of those that just cannot vape? But i was vaping away for 4 months happily.... This really is sad

started reading more on dehydration and the symptoms seems to be similar to what i had and i did notice that i had dry mouth, throat, dry in the nose areas as well. Maybe i was not hydrated well? I will take a week off from vaping , get real hydrated and try vaping again. If i get the same symptoms again, than it's going to be my last vape. Fingers crossed :(
