I was wondering about something. Please be kind enough to make a mark on my survey. This goes to mindless vaping. How do you vape when you're not even thinking about it? (If we're lucky, the survey results and consequent opinion will lead to no end of arguing and otherwise entertaining volatility.) The tilt rating goes from Ø degrees (no tilt; we're talking jug band bottle blowing style, with your chin tucked in) to 90 degrees (full horizontal tilting or even more; gangsta' style).

I tip smaller mods like I'm smoking a cigarette or cigar, so nearly 90 degrees. Seems to fool the brain a bit that I'm still smoking, and was a pretty big part of quitting smoking for me, holding it between fingers or with index finger wrapped like a fattie cigar.

Larger mods, more like 45-67.5 until the juice is almost gone, although I usually refill before it reaches bottom.

Interesting poll pdib.

my natural vaping "stance" is with my eyes facing forward, with my head and chin in a natural, normal state. not looking down, not looking up. so when i grab a mod, my hand comes to my face to accomodate the angle in which where my eyes and head is facing. this angle just happes to be approx 67.5 degrees, just short of a full gangsta tilt. sometimes it ends up being full gangsta. perhaps the angle assists with wicking, perhaps it doesnt matter. all i know is this is just my most natural way of vaping.

i doubt if anyone vapes their mods vertical, that would be ridiculous, especially while driving. maybe there is some people that vape vertical because i do often hear of people saying that their set-ups are soo good that they dont have to tilt their mods. anyways i vape just short of horizontal.

when people are talking against having to tilt most are referring to the old way of having to tilt so high the wickhole is under the juice. and i also feel if this is the case then the wick isnt doing its job, it should be wicking and pulling juice not having to be force fed.

most of the times people comment on the not having to tilt is just a reference that the wick is working well. not they want to vape vertically.
