Haven't been on the forums for a while, but it's getting to be that time of year again when i'm down to a month or so of supplies leftover from the year before, and now i'm ready to place a massive order. So far my model progression has gone DSE 901 > DSE 801 > eGO-T > eGO-T2 > eGO-C > Some crappy mod i bought locally but liked before it died (Thus landing me back to the C)

Now i'm ready to put down some money on a an eVic and a couple of Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh batteries, but i haven't quite decided what cartomizer i want to switch to. I've been using the T2 coil changeable clearomizers for about a year now since the coils are so cheap and i can easily throw them away without caring too much, but it looks like these are going out of style (these tanks, not the changable coils), which is a damn shame, because i love the way these taste, especially with the long wicks.

I'm going to try one of the bottom coil changeable clearomizers, but i'm not sure which one to go with. It seems like most of the ones out there are 3 mL or larger, which just seems too big for me to be carrying around at all times in my pocket, so i'm really looking to see if i can find one that is closer to the 2.3 mL tanks that i've been using for the last year or so. I vape roughly 3-4 mL each day, which would make you think that a large tank would suit me better, but i'd rather have something that's more convenient to carry, as well as a small backup bottle if i run out at work.

Thanks.

If you want it to be pocketable, you'll have to keep the size and weight of many of the new options in mind. Many of the newer delivery systems are wider in diameter than eGo batteries so they would be bulky and top heavy. It may be that the T2 is still the best combination of size and weight, but the T3 may be worth trying. Here's a comparison thread that may be helpful http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/346691-kanger-t2-vs-t3.html The Evod is an eGo-sized variation of the T3 with a smaller replaceable head assembly (and cheaper) but has less capacity than the T2 or T3. Good luck with your hunt!

Thanks for the advice. What about the CEX clearomizer? It has the cheapest coils to replace, but the replacement coils look entirely wick based. Is the coil a permanent fixture in the tank? If so, i don't want it at all, because the one thing i've always loved about my kanger T2's is that the tank portion only really needed replacing if it started leaking. Hell, i haven't replaced my tank on my T2 in almost 4 months, and i still haven't 2 backup tanks that i ordered last year. just mounds and mounds of coils (i change coils at the end of the week regardless of vape quality)
