I am 2 months into vaping and have cut my analog use by 80+%. YES!

So, originally I bought this stainless Ego-T (TYPE_B) kit:

Two (2) 1000mAh eGo-T Passthrough batteries
One (1) USB Cable

One (1) USB wall adapter
Five (5) eGo T Type B cartridges empty

Two (2) eGo T Type B LR atomizers

The LR attys are garbage IMHO, they burn out way to fast and it always seems like I am get more air and less vapor / Th.

I bought a few regular resistance Attys and that was much better. Oh yeah and they don't burn out so easy!

Now I am low on liquid so its time to hit Eric up a VS for some more "Tampa". I was thinking of getting some more regular attys and thought, maybe I should try something else. I see the Ego- C improvement came out, but I have a type-B and didn't see anything for that. I really want to keep my tank size at a 2.5 ml minimum.

I would say I am fairly happy with my set-up, but can I kick it up a notch with my current PV?

My main concerns:

  • [*=left]ending up with crappy attys or cartos
[*=left]I really like the ease of filling the tanks (pour, cap and go!)
[*=left]a mod that is gawdy and sticks out

I plan to get a VV PV in a few months, but since I need some back ups with my liquid and Ego for now. Why not come here and get some pro advice.

Thanks everyone!

I've been vaping my Ego with a the Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer and Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions, it's a beast, and I can vape on it all day without having to refill, so I take it with me while working so I don't have to mess around with dripping and refilling. Battery will usually last me all or most of my day depending on how hard I'm hitting it... I've also got a Smoktech XL Dual Coil 510 cartomizer and it hits like a champ, I'm vaping Vermillion River's Kentucky Blend #7, and the vapor production is awesome... I got tired of atomizers, they all would get a funny taste to them after a while, and the cartomizers are cheap so use them for a few weeks and toss them out... I'd recommend checking those carto's out if you want something different, they are cheap so pick one up with a juice order and give em a try. I also picked up one of the new Green 360 cartomizers, but haven't tried it out yet... I've seen good reviews online, I got mine from Vulcan Vape (they call it the Vulcan Cartomizer) but I've also seen it on a few other sites under other names as well... So far I've picked up all my equipment from either Vulcan or Madvapes, had a bad atomizer from Vulcan with my starter kit and they replaced it no problem, stick with vendors that have good customer service and reputations and you should be fine!

Ok ill be the first one to say this.. Since your already talking about a VV then the time to get one is now. Anything you get untill then is a waste of both time and money imo.. Your better off going big now and growing into it a little. VaporBeast has their version of the Lavatube in a kit with everything and 2 batteries for 69$ and free shipping in the US ( I got my stuff in 2 days) The great thing is that its not only a great VV mod its threaded in a 510 so you can use all your stuff with it. Throw one of your 510 batteries on its atty and drip tip for a portable vape.. I do. Get some of the Boge cartos for $8 a 5 pack, ask anyone Boge cartos kick ....
As for juice try out Mt Baker Vaper I just got an order from them and everything tasted great. I got a total of 90mls of great tasting juice from them for under 20$ shipped(another US supplier).

Good lord a lot of questions.. The lavatubes work best with standard attys/cartos, 3.0ohm. Part#s ? Im sure Tim at VaporBeast could get you those, but he is an awesome guy, I dont see him lying about his inventory. Also Ive seen Boges and these come with the same "STD"(standard) sticker and are machined out the same as all my other Boges. I just drip to fill my cartos and top them off, no syringes. And once again no shipping costs his are free.

What ohms? What size/ml did you guys get? Are the cartomizers the same in diameter with the bats? Do these have part #'s so I can make sure I am not getting any knock offs? Do I need a syringe or can I drip into them right from the bottle?

Sorry for asking specifics, I just hate burning up shipping costs and not getting what I need.

Thanks

I'm using Smoktech branded cartomizers. The Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer comes in only one version, The Dual Coil XL I'm using, didn't list the resistance, so I'm not sure of the ohm rating on it... With an ego battery you want to stay above 2 ohms from what I've read, so hopefully it's over that (the site I ordered it from recomended it for an Ego or 510, so I assume it's a safe resistance)

I've up-graded to the Smoketch Bolt,,,,, lovin' it
It doesn't have an automatic off like the Ego stuff
You can do cyclic draws if you're limited on time (i.e. work, etc)
They're cheap from http://www.crystalclearvaping.com/The-Bolt-PV_c_38.html but come with only a battery, so You may want to shop for a charger and back-up batteries
3.7(ish) vaping definitly beats the e-cigs (especially the ones with an auto stop!)
Next stop,,, 5V :vapor:
