Quite frankly, I have yet to be asked not to vape ...anywhere. In today's economic environment I don't think many palces can afford to turn away any group of people (unless in their economic interest to do so). So, make your list & DO inform the owners (not just some kid manager) that they risk a boycott from a sizable & growing group. Stick up for yourselves. It may look like smoking, but it's non-harmful to others. Personally, I don't flaunt it, and nobody bothers me. Be cool & be stealthy.

I've found that even anti-smokers, not nicotine Nazis, don't have an issue with them. In fact I've been complemented on the sweet aroma they pick up and asked questions to suggest to family and friends they know that smoke.

Let's face it, there are the nic Nazis and the hardcore smokers that are so set in their ways that nothing will satisfy them but acceptance of their ideology. Then their are the rest that are open minded and just need some gentle nudging to be on our side.

Same goes for smokeless. You won't believe how many people think the only type of smokeless is "spit" tobacco as the Nazis have renamed it to be as offensive as possible.

i can understand restaurant bans because when im vaping at home and blowing out huge clouds of vapor on mods or even the LR attys, my gf is always waving the vapor out of her face. so in restaurants it can be more of an annoyance then a health hazard for customers to be eating and a big cloud of vapor invades your space, especially if its more humid, then the vapor doesnt evaporate as fast. but as far as baseball stadiums and whatnot there should be no ban since youre inhaling methane from beer farts as it is anyway.

EDIT: by "bans" i mean the restaurant owners right to decide to allow it or not, NOT the government taking away the freedom for owners to make that choice.

Heather, this part I just don't get. She does not have the "right" to misunderstand the law. Why would you think that? And she currently has nothing to protect herself from. The law does not need to be "changed" to exclude ecigs - they are simply not included, as is clear on the plain face and language of the law itself.
.

I agree. And I think thats true its just I can't change her mind about it...not that I'm not continuing to try BTW and there are some others who are as stuck as she is...that was my only point not that it's the RIGHT thing its just kinda the way it is....and until we have (and looking at the CASAAs info and other info on the web i think we do) enuff info to counter that its not going to be enuff for me to just talk about it (again not that I'm stopping talking LOL cuz that would be like....well weird LOL)
So to put it more succinctly It may be an incorrect interpretation but until the law tells her she's wrong she's not gonna just believe ME. Thats all I was trying to say.

I agree in theory. But how do you know which ones are banning it? Is there a list somewhere?

I registered the domains vape-friendly.com .org .net .info

I make these sort of databases and applications as part of my on the side employment, I'll should launch in a couple weeks since business is slow so people can add establishments they've been to and users can rate & comment their vape-friendliness.

Suggestions?
