As my vaping equipment progresses, I am using more and more juice to the point where I am spending quite a bit a month on pre-made bottles. So I am thinking now is the time to go DIY.

Does anyone know of a UK store where I can get everything I need and where nic/flavourings etc are decent? Literally don't have anything for DIY so would need the lot.

Many thanks in advance.

Easy DIY E-Liquid Calculator for mixing your own juice is a very simple calculator

I have also used a company called JustVape 24/7 who do both flavourings and liquids, but you'll find plenty more if you do a google search for liquid nicotine for vaping. There can be quite a variance on prices.

You'll be amazed at how simple it is to get started - good luck!

I have been collecting recipes that look promising and ordering the flavors for them. I think the biggest help in my starting is creating a spreadsheet for a master inventory, a needs list, and for each recipe. Tracking everything is really helped.

When I see a recipe, I take a good look at it for sanity, too. But, I do appreciate experienced people posting their recipes and comments about it.

I think it depends upon how you're going to steep it! Just putting the cap on it and letting it sit in a dark place by itself...IMO plastic is fine! I do mine that way, but most of the recipes I make are shake & vape, so I don't steep much at all. If I need to evaporate off any ethyl alcohol...I still leave it in the plastic bottle, shake the heck out of it several times a day, and leave the cap off for the evaporation to take place. Do that for 3-4 days.

If you're going to give it a hot bath in something somehow...I'd use a glass bottle myself. But I've never done that...giving any a bath!

Ok, I have read A LOT and watched a lot of videos and I feel I am ready to give this a try now.

I have just 1 question which I can't seem to find a clear answer on. Is it better to steep in a glass bottle, or are plastic ones fine for this?

Thanks in advance!

But the short answer is if you do quick steeping with heat use glass if just letting time take over glass or plastic is fine.
