My eGo-C Twist just got the "3 flashes of Death", and the more I read about the egos the more problems I find they have. I don't want to go out and buy another piece of crap, this one barely lasted me a month.

What are your recomendations for a VV unit with replacable batteries, keeping in mind that I'm no where near ready for a Provari.

lets keep the price around $50 and a ceiling of 100

Will the store honor a 30 day warranty? Mine did. Your eGo shoulda lasted longer than that. Mine have, way longer. I contacted the vendor and asked if they honored the customary 30 day warranty on their batteries and it went from there. They did this even when their policy was for 14 days! That made them awesome in my book and i'll always have them bookmarked in my online stores of purchase. It's worth a try. You may have gotten a bad one, a lemon. Even if you are looking for something else I'd still pursue getting that eGo replaced. After my eGo CE Pass-throughs I got 2 Vision Spinner 1300mAhs at the same place you got your eGo, there's the iTaste vv/vw 3 800mAh pass-through, or the MVP 2 2600mAh pass-through at MtBakers with a 15% coupon to knock it down to your desired amount.

Godsmulligan I'd still contact them and let them know about the problem. They may be able to repair it for you. You have nothing to lose in trying. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised! Or, at least, go away with a bit more knowledge of the company and what they are willing to do. I'm just saying it's worth your time. Just shoot them an email.

My joye 1000mAh twist has been my main battery since the beginning of May. It's just now starting to need charged more often.
I've read a lot of reviews/comments and I picked the SVD. I think it'll last a long time. Not as many complaints as the vamo.

SVD - $38 from fasttech
nitecore i2 charger from fasttech = $16
Battery storage case from fasttech = $2
2 panisonic 2900mAh NCR18650PD batteries from orbtronic = $22

Total = $78 shipped

+1 on the Vamo recommendation. It has all of the features you're looking for and fits well within your price range, even after buying the batteries and a good charger.

The MVP and SVD are also great devices and have been well reviewed here.

My eGo-C Twist batteries only flash 3 times when I hold the button down too long. I have had them not fire at all when the atomizer isn't screwed all the way down into the plate, tank isn't screwed onto the battery--happens all the time with my Protank because of the beauty ring, or the battery needs charged.

The vamo can be had for around $50. The v5 has the body of the v2 and guts of the v3 and is the one I suggest you buy. It also does rms amd mean voltage. It's my go to vv/vw device, the only one I have, I primarily use mechs.

As a side note, it's the one I chose to keep. I had an SVD, eVic and the vamo. I sold the others.

you can get the MVP stateside for about 48.00 on EBAY, but be careful and go with a reputable dealer (someone here who bought one there will chime in hopefully or send you a personal message) because Paypal and EBAY don't allow the sale of e-cigarettes,,,,,,,I know people have done it successfully, however,,,,,,,

whatever you do, I'd recommend going stateside, instead of Fasttech or another China dealer right now,,,,,,,,,batteries,,,,ANY lithium batteries are having a really tough time coming out of China right now,,,,

I am waiting roughly 50 days at this point for my Vamo kit.
